Forkner on a factory 450 is crazy

If he does really well at the 1st 3-4 rounds…say consistently good top tens…

Do you leave him “there”?

Yes, yes you do. I'm pulling for him to do well.

Austin's words from the press release:

“I'm super excited for the opportunity to race in the 450SX division to start the 2026 season. Whether it turns out to be a little bit of a warm-up going into 250SX East, or potentially a full season if we decide to go that way, I think it's a great opportunity.

Well…in the PR…they kinda hinted…

“It is currently planned that Forkner will return to the TF 250-X and compete in the 250SX East division, coinciding with Smith’s return.”

I’m also in the “I’m pulling for him to do well” club.

Well he's certainly got his work cut out for him. So many fast dudes, the top ten will be a chore.

We are in complete agreement and I’ll bet ya a beer that Austin is, too! 🤣

Doesn’t even include guys like Craig & Savatgy? Savatgy gotta be racing right ?

I’d consider them on the same level team as Nichols or not considered factory so?

I wonder if 19 is a record. I would imagine so. You then mention some of the top privateers and making mains might be as hard as ever.

Yeah, seems likely that a factory guy or 2 will miss the main most nights…

Justin Hill makes 23 guys who should be in the mains. Deep class let's hope they stay healthy.

Austin has a better chance at winning a 250 title for Triumph, than finishing consistently top 5 in 450. Marketing-wise, that’s the move.

This list also doesn't count Joey or Shane or Justin Hill either.

Even with Jordon Smith out, it's going to be a dogfight to even get into the main for a lot of guys.

I’d have to agree with that…other than there are 17 opportunities on the 450 and 10 on the 250 (yes 10 with all the Showdowns). Also, the 450s get considerably more attention “in show”.

Again, all of this is based on IF Austin does well on the 450.

Off the top of my head, has Austin beat like 10 of these factory guys straight up while they were all on 250s?  The top 10 is possible when I look at it that way………

Just to make it as accurate as possible, Anderson is on Twisted Tea Suzuki.
