In the case of the Jan 6th rioters, I feel like Trump had more influence than media . He was getting his supporters riled up claiming the election was stolen. And telling them to come to DC because it would be wild. Media may have played some part, but the biggest part was Trump.
I really don't blame the Jan 6th rioters for doing what they did. Agree or disagree with that political party and the views they had, I am happy that people did what they did when they thought the election was stolen. I don't agree that it was stolen. They never showed any proof of anything that would have changed the winner. Yes they showed proof of very low level issues, that should be fixed but were not enough to change the outcome.
I agree that there is a lot of noise that is coming from media helping get people riled up too. So many " news" channel's on TV have become entertainment and opinion based. I prefer news being reported in a factual way that leaves opinion out of it. With all the AI and fake news on social media ,I've found myself relying on legacy media and news to filter out the real and the AI or faker stories. It just sucks that all the national News channels are all injecting their opinions.

Calling the J6er’s rioters means you have fallen for the hoax. They looked mostly peaceful in my opinion and did not look like rioters. Of course there were some things that were questionable, but for the most part this was a peaceful protest.
But they did look. And that was all they found. Was the minor things. They kept promising the proof and never delivered. And multiple people were sued for defamation .
You could find people being peaceful and not setting shit on fire if You looked back through the footage of the blacklives matters protests that turned into riots. But I wouldn't call a lot of those peaceful either. Peaceful areas for sure, but things got really crazy at a lot of them.
If You break into a house and take a shit on the floor and steal stuff and beat up a few cops , it doesn't matter if You walked in a single file line on the way to do it after bashing down the door and breaking windows to climb in through. What was it 1600ish people that were charged? that crowd looked way bigger than that so perhaps the people that were peaceful were not charged at all.
What do You think of the footage they have shown of the doors being held back and windows broken out? Police getting beat with flagpoles ( talk about disrespecting the flag). I would say that this falls into selective truth reporting. Something I see and dislike no matter who is the subject or reporter.

There was a lawsuit from Dominion that could have exposed the issues that were being talked about with the machines. That went through Rudy and My pillow guy both had judgements against them. As well as the pole workers in Georgia that were accused of something . Both those cases were decided in favor of the accused fraudsters , wouldn't there have been discover for the defense in those? To prove their accusations of the machines flipping votes and pole workers messing with votes?

That case was settled out of court. Those types of lawsuits are more to drain the funds of who you are suing and never get through the full process. Dominion had access to way more $$s and was able to financially ruin Rudy.
Did you not see the video of the MIT professor demonstrating to the court how you could change the vote count with just a Bic pen?
I may have mis-spoke, there may not be video of it as it may not have been recorded in the courtroom. However there was plenty of reporting on it.

OK so they had no evidence because all the court cases were thrown out. Which caused them to not be able to find evidence. So what did they have? A hunch? Why did they think there was an issue? Because he lost? He lost because enough people were unhappy with the way things were going. Then won again because of the same reason. They had plenty of airtime and made claims that they had proof they would release, yet they never did. When those cases were dismissed or whatever the official word was, they could have made the info public that they were using to bring the cases and not risk anything. Did they? What was it? None of the right leaning media showed or talked about it that I remember. Nobody except the fake BS on facebook.
There are 1000's of workers handling votes and the counts. You think that all of them saw what happened and didn't say anything?Or not one of them saw anything? Its a secret too big to keep. Just like Trump's attempts to "Find" votes got out to the public. Real legit proof of large scale cheating would also get out. Sometimes a secret is too big to keep. Especially when You have so many people involved with no vested interest in keeping the secret .
Do You also think that the people who broke windows and pushed the doors open, chanted hange mike pence and went into the capital and shit all over offices , stole stuff. Etc. Were all peaceful and did not deserve jail time? With the large number of people that were in Washington, I'm sure that there were many that did not partake in the violence. But the bad ones should be punished.
Saying that there was nothing violent and it was totally peaceful is just a lie. Its like playing the non pornographic scenes of a Porn movie to say it's not a Porn movie. And ignoring that when You see the entire thing that it was indeed a Porn movie and there was indeed a lot of people( perhaps a small total percentage of the people there) that did what would be considered a riot if you are not looking at it with a heavy biase.

Pushing doors open, chanting, and making a mess is not a riot. I don’t know about the stealing, but stealing does not make something a riot if they did. And I wouldn't be surprised if Republicans lose the house and senate majorities for the same reasons I state below. Not because I think that people like democrats better, but because they are unhappy with how things are . Unless they drastically change how things are going and how people feel about how things are going.
People were unhappy with how things were for them during Trumps first term, then not enough felt that things were better during Bidens Term along with the questionable swaparoo of the candidate. Both Trump and Biden had super low approval ratings towards the ends of their terms so its not a surprise.
I really think its as simple as the majority of the country is unhappy with the way things are. And they are showing it by voting the current people out of office each time. A lot of people are not voting for who they like or want to be President. They are voting the other admin out, hoping that sends a message they want changes. And it seems like neither party really cares. They know they are the only options and we are stuck with them.
The way politicians have changed from making empty promises to demonizing the other side and claiming the other person will take things away. Using fear as a big motive for votes and donations.
I think that a large amount of people who vote are not super loyal supporters of any party. And do not follow politics like some people do. Making it such a big part of their lives. Only catching little bits here and there.

If there were hours and hours of video that was collected . It would take a lot of time to get the footage collected and sorted . I'm sure some people wouldn't give their footage up without a warrant. It could take people a longtime to view and track with the missing pieces here and there. It is if you take into account what caused inflation (printing money, open borders) and what the current administration is doing to correct it, then it is a hoax. By the way, what is the democrats plan to make things affordable? Exactly what are they planning to do to bring prices down and wages up? We know that Trump has brought down fuel prices (drill baby drill) , secured the border (this helps housing costs), secured foreign investments in the US, and reduced regulation.

Remember the crazy market for used bikes in 2020? That's when prices started going crazy. Tariffs have added to the price increases on many things and resulted in Farmers needing a bailout. If he dropped the tariffs the prices of so many things could drop.
Both admins contributed to the inflation we have now.

Everybody or mostly everybody agrees that prices on a lot of stuff have gone way up. Regardless of how prices got higher Trump ran on dropping the prices of everyday stuff that was his claim, that was what he himself claimed was the reason he won the election. Democrats reminding people of that would not qualify as a hoax by definition. Unless Trump himself is admitting he never had a plan to lower costs, I don't see the hoax.
I don't know that it matters if the other side has a better plan to a lot of people. They may use their votes to fire people instead of saying they approve of the candidate they vote for.

I gave perfect examples of some things President Trump is doing to lower prices. What are some of the democrats plans? More welfare, open borders, electric car mandates, shutting down pipelines, printing money, dei, didn’t seem to work. If democrats have the answers, tell us what they are. Why didn’t they do it before when they were in power? President Trump has only been in office for 10 months. Do you think he should be able to just snap his fingers and make it happen ? He’s working on it. Just imagine how fucked we’d all be if Kamala had won.
