Didn't he want to ride outdoors and SMX but Star didn't want him to? Pretty sure he said something like "Finally I'm allowed to ride again" in an interview when he got out of Star.
Was such a weird deal anyways
I just watched the races now, holy crap, great races, kudos to Roczen and Deegan for the show!
Basically tossed him to the side once haiden went back to training with the team. Wouldn't let him ride the bike because of limited parts, wouldn't let him race MX when Webb got injured, didn't feel respected by the riders he was supposed to help train. Can't be surprised he is pissed.
450 racing was great tonight. Was stoked to see Craig get a moto win and Deegan is getting the hang of it. Wish tomac, roczen and Deegan were racing more rounds. If Craig continues like this he could win this.

Wow. Gotta feel good for him to smoke Webb and Deegan. And their ex #1 guy.
Deegs is answering the questions if he belongs with the big dogs. Another year refining his sx craft on the 250 is going to work wonders for him.
Kind of what I wanted to see, KTM and Tomac on a slick surface to see how the bike handled and show the ugly. The ktm struggled mightily in the whoops, but also the same spot that Chase was struggling with which is mid corner turning. The bike doesn't want to turn down, and with Tomacs suspension of front soft, rear hard sets up a front end steering bias bike. The bike looks more neutral but he got smoked in every single bowl turn. Work to do before Anaheim for sure. Kenny looked amazing, great ride by Christian, Deegan gaining confidence.
What did he say
My one and only worry about him going to KTM was the whoops. We all know the KTM isn’t probably the best bike in the whoops so I fully figured he would struggle with them for a bit at the very least.
Yeah I'm curious also. Lol
Deegan needs to move up this season. He’s slowly getting over the 250 habits that hindered him in Argentina. 8 more 250 races won’t help his race craft against the 450 guys. Hes going to be riding a 450 all season in prep for outdoors, he might as well stay on it.
“I have a good team behind me and people that want me on their team. Shout out to the people that counted me out; people that I thought were close to me, this one’s for you.”
So where’s all the people that said this series wouldn’t be a success? That was some dam good racing.
I was skeptical in the beginning but now I'm sold and thankful that we have the WSX to watch in the off season. Furthermore, the excitement factor redlined today with effing insane racing in the 450 class. I can't think of any race from the AMA SX 450 rounds that could match race 2 and 3 from this OZ round.
I just watched it and it was great! Like Tomac has said, a little dust is just fine. Racing was awesome with everyone able to make their own lines in the corners and not worry about cross rutting the rhythms.
WSX doing good is only good for the sport, if they start drawing attention/riders, it forces Feld to make AMA series more appealing to the riders and fans alike. This is how capitalism is supposed to work, competition is good!
Where was this confirmed? On the broadcast?
broadcast was kinda clumsy. Not gonna rehash Ralph complaints but Blair kept commenting to things we couldn't see while we're listening to the crowd go nuts. The Deeg pass on Tomac was the worst. Must have been 20 seconds before the producer changed to a proper camera.
Good racing though. That track had some intense racing. Deegs had a good night, but I'm still underwhelmed. He rides like a damn goon despite his speed and it's gonna bite him badly at some point.
Roczen was on rails. Tomac has me a little worried. Webb did what Webb does. Craig was a surprise bit time. Anderson was doing well also.
Pit Row
It was confirmed a long time ago.. people just don’t wanna believe it for some reason.
I thought he was racing a 450 at a1 then going east, early in the off season i thought he would defend his title, but then he wanted to race east.
On mathes post race interview he blows out one star employee who seems like a piece of work
You are underwhelmed by Deegan? Coming from the person who constantly says Deegan will be Barcia 2.0 and always has a negative spin on Deegan, why am I not surprised? Haiden could have went 1-1-1 and you would say that the competition was having issues, and his 1-1-1 wasn't that great.

I've heard nothing but speculation unless there was an official announcement that I missed during the broadcast. Most recent dialogue on it was Lewis Phillips trying a few different angles to get Haiden to say something during this weekend's Press Day, and the response he got was that Deegan would "announce in the next couple of weeks".
The plan all along has been to race one more season in 250sx and then 450 outdoors. That's never changed. The only speculation was whether Deegan would race any west coast 450 races, and the Deegan's nor Star never confirmed any of that.
After the Argentina round, Deegan said he was racing 250 sx and had unfinished business with Kitchen.
Haiden's plans were announced in August when he resigned with Star

Yarrive is going to have a pretty solid 450 team with Savatgy, McElrath, and Craig. Surely Yarrive will keep Craig for SX next year with the way he’s riding and improving. Just keep the wife, camera, and adversity out of it 😂😂
He's gonna need that extra time, 'cause he just got worked by a guy he thought wasn't good enough to train him.
Ralph said it, but Ralph also said it was Craig and Tomac battling, and Craig took the lead when it was Deegan and Tomac battling for second.
Deegan said no decision has been made yet.
Thanks, not a ralph fan, i tried in argentina, but i was already kinda over him.
On the broadcast they said “we’ve got some breaking news…” and it was that Deegan will be on a 250 until the Motocross season.
"Haiden could have went 1-1-1"
Let me know when that happens. Thanks. Until then, my opin is as valid as yours, "super fan".
