"The apparel features the team’s logo, a skeleton head wearing a Nazi-style helmet, which some motorcyclists wear in place of a traditional helmet."

Who the hell wears a Nazi-style helmet in place of a traditional helmet? I swear to God the media gets to just make stuff up as they go along. Priceless...

I loved this part:

The apparel features the team’s logo, a skeleton head wearing a Nazi-style helmet, which some motorcyclists wear in place of a traditional helmet. Metal Mulisha also has a contract with Rockstar energy drink for a Metal Mulisha Rockstar line of clothing.

Anyone else get their 2011 Shoei VFX-Nazi lid? Mines way sick!

As long as the Helmet doesn't have a swastika on it, it shouldn't matter. MM stuff is pretty "non-establishment" looking though.

Big deal. I'd guess that the MM are loving every second of the exposure, though.

Don't school districts have bigger things to worry about? Like educating kids?

Hilarious, I think they stopped trying to educate kids several years ago when everything became feel good excercises that have been ruining kids since...

All I saw was the title of this thread and my first thought was "this had to be in the new 909, aka 951 area". With all the flatbillers in Murrieta/Temecula area, I can see the school districts banning more than MM clothes. What's crazy is that these districts used to rank pretty high in Cali rankings for edumacation, not sure lately though.

11/24/2010 1:19pm
way back in the day I wore a IRV SEAVER Motorcycles t-shirt to high school and while i wasn't sent home they told me NEVER to wear a biker t-shirt to school again. They did tell me this right before the last class of the day.

If they banned that, boys would stop going to school.

Good for Deegan and crew. You can't buy marketing like that.

They are banned in pretty much all the schools around here. Can't show your stomach. No strapless or spaghetti straps, skirts and shorts have to be close to knee length.

Been that way for a few years already.

The "S" in Mulisha and in that Slayer shirt above is a Nazi symbol.

I have a problem with it. I'm pretty surprised none of you do.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schutzstaffel

The Schutzstaffel (German pronunciation: [ˈʃʊtsʃtafəl], Protection Squadron), abbreviated SS—or Runic with stylized "Armanen" Sig runes — was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. Built upon the Nazi ideology, the SS, under Heinrich Himmler's command, was responsible for many of the crimes against humanity during World War II (1939-1945). After 1945 the SS was banned in Germany along with the Nazi Party as a criminal organization.

They wore the skull on their hats as well.

Stop looking for shit to have a problem with. That "S" is not a Nazi symbol unless there are two in a row and they are standing alone. The men in this world have turned into a bunch of self loathing pantie wastes. Seriously. Everything hurts somebodies feelings, knock it off already. You're right, we'll ban skulls in general and the letter "S" completely from now on because they make some people feel uncomfortable. You sound like a woman.

I didn't have to look that hard to have a problem with it, it's blatant.

Like motoexistance says, you don't have to look far on the MM site to find blatant Nazi references. Do a bit of research before you go shooting your mouth off and insulting people. As a person who has family that are holocaust survivors, I can see his point.

For the record - if the Metal Mulisha are NAZIS or -are fond of the NAZI regime - count me

as one of their sworn enemies.

NAZIS tried to kill my dear old dad more than once and I would take pleasure in

dispatching them to hell.

And, if they are not, I would appreciate a clarification.

Quickly.

Im not posting this to make light of the situation but is the mulisha really aware of this reference or is it just a logo ? I guess I could ask the same thing about the band kiss but honestly I never viewed either in this context. Only as a form of entertainment.

The ss in Kiss is the same S slayer used.
We all know Gene Simmons is Jewish.

Thats what Im asking. Is the intent there with the mulisha ? Im not so sure. I lean towards it just being part of a logo.

The KISS logo I can't explain. The Mulisha "S" in an obviously different font from the rest of the logo, combined with the skulls, the helmets and the crew that created the Mulisha says something different.
