I was thinking about the emails that they have been talking about. And wonder if Epstein didn't say things knowing they may be seen by investigators. At the time a lot of those were written he knew he was being looked at. He had to have an idea that anything that was written could be seen by more than just him. So it makes me wonder if he wrote a lot of fake emails to implicate people. Perhaps hoping investigators would back off if they saw those names? Or hoping they would also look into those people and find the bad things they did? Or maybe he wasn't that smart and assumed nobody else could ever see the emails. Also, how do they have emails that are so old? I never delete anything and I don't have stuff that old.

Google having (likely) a lifetime backup of any active users mailbox. Their public restoration period is 30 days after deletion. Similar to most free cloud solutions though, if you're using it, the data is being stored. Whether for legal/audit reasons, or to sell to marketing firms, it happens everywhere.
I know that Google could have emails from forever. But since they came from Epstein's estate it made it sound like they were saved locally or printed out and locked up. And given his supposed lack of keeping a list of clients in writing, it seemed odd that he would keep emails around that could incriminate him and others unless he wanted to have them around for that reason. I'm probably thinking into it too much.
I don't doubt that data is saved and used in every way possible forever. Google can't just give everybody a free email out of the goodness of their hearts. And during the Boston Marathon bombing I had my emails investigated by the FBI. It was because of a few things that looked like they could be connected ,( I was doing work for a couple customers that involved MIT artwork and aerial images of the area for another customer) but were not. So I know that they are not gone just because You delete them. My email was locked and I thought it was because I needed to delete some old stuff. So when it was unlocked I deleted 20K emails and then they locked it again and the feds sent an email explaining that I was being investigated for suspicious activity due to the deleted emails. I'm guessing they locked them to see what I would delete . Lucky for me I wasn't involved in anything bad . I felt bad for whoever had to read through my Facebook notifications and other useless emails I had gotten rid of. It took a couple days and then I got another email saying that I was cleared. I think I printed them out to save, so I should have them someplace.

Biden's operatives knew EXACTLY what's in those files, as do the current lot.
