The holeshot was all important on that track layout and Barcia was nailing it in that department.
He had gotten a unusual horrible start and that track looked just about impossible to pass on.
Just about every pass he made ,he had to bang them.
When he was working his way towards a podium position he banged a guy and from the looks of it.... another guys bars got stuck in his back wheel,it knocked him off the track.
But he got back on a kept charging and worked his way back up to 5th.
It was actually an awesome ride.
Congrats Barcia.
The only one that I have seen posted was Friday nights race that Dan Dunes posted a link to on here the other day.

I've seen enough of Barcia to know that this is how he rides whether it is Bercy or if it is Anaheim. I would say 80% of on track "incidents" in the past two years in U.S. have involved him contacting someone.
I'm sure he had an awesome ride but I can't stand that kind of riding, sorry.
Keep what I posted in mind during the 2011 season and see if he doesn't cost himself a lot of points at some point in SX with a bad decision, taking himself out of the points chase. The sad truth is if you BAM into 5 guys in a race, the odds are in favor of bars getting stuck in yer wheel, OR a rotor bending, OR a radiator/hose/water pump breaking, OR spokes breaking.....you get the idea.
His title chances will go up as his incidents of contact go down.
He now looks llike Barney Rubble, but doesn't play like him.
Well done, Barney, you showed the euros how it's done. We wear trunks, not thongs, and we take showers everyday, not once a week.
I'm gonna cheer.
I still thought the most impressive performance of the weekend belongs to "who's that guy" Chiz.
Only those who were there can vouch for my second most impressive pick. That would be the difference between Cairolli at the first gate on Friday, to Cairolli when the final gate dropped.
I love his style, it's like the old days when men rode like men and left the complaining to the girlfriends.
Barcia was RACING, and the Frenchies didn't like it. Well done kid, stay on it !
And Chiz was just SOOOOOOOOOOOO smooth.
Had to feel sorry for Soubs on the smoker, so close yet so far, but he said himself on Sunday morning he knew he was not as fast as those two; he was just pumped to get a podium.
