Ken was born a German. You know that.

I’m happy I watched it on Tubi for free. Overall I enjoyed it!

Wibur sure has grown up.  Remember him racing the local stuff here in Kansas.

Remind me again how the WSX folks are making money paying Roczen, J coop, Deegan, Tomac, rfc a couple hundred grand. Ticket sales not covering that.

A couple hundred grand you say? 8000 people at say $100 a seat (some tickets cheaper, some a lot more) is $800 000 on my calculator.

I'm an American with strong German heritage. Who does Roczen race for in the MXDN?

My two oldest were born on a US base in England. They had dual citizenship til they turned 18 then Uncle Sam made them renounce their British citizenship.   Funny thing is...Britian doesn't acknowledge the renouncment.   Once British...always Brirish.  Maybe Germany is the same?

For those that have done nothing but shit on Diffey and RC, compared to the WSX commentating those guys are the Gold standard. How anyone could want Ralph and Emig back is beyond me.

Anyone else think the camera work was an interesting shake up vs ama? I liked the shot placement, and how they would hold a shot and really let us see the field go through a section.

The German National Anthem in Argentina to cap off the night was quite appropriate.

After World War II, an estimated 5,000 to 9,000 Nazis and collaborators escaped to Argentina through secret “ratlines,” aided by sympathetic officials under President Juan Perón.

Only complaint for me was that I wish it was a bit more of a race at the front. Big cheers to free streaming of SX in the off-season!

Is their mother British? If not, how did they get British citizenship while you were under SOFA status? My kids have dual Japanese citizenship, but that’s because their mom is Japanese, not because they were born here.

So glad their terrible steaming service couldn't even work long enough for my credit card to go through.

Why did we have to buy the season pass via those weird credits? What is this, Xbox Live?

Does anyone know if the remaining rounds will be on tubi / bein sports? That would be really nice. Seamless and free.

I found it really hard to figure out how we were supposed to watch this shit as it was approaching. I looked on racer x a few weeks back and I didn't find much.

Ya but they’re not in the USA, so you have to hit the metric button on your calculator. That brings it down to about a grand50.  😜

Gosh you guys are insufferable sometimes. I don’t care who it affects. It’s a bad rule. There’s a reason why in AMA SX, your main event gate pick is based off of your heat race result. To be subjected to your qualifying gate pick for a whole night of racing, when other points-paying races have taken place, is stupid. There is no other form of top-level MX or SX racing where qualifying gate pick takes precedent over the result of a following race.

AHRMA361 wrote:

Gosh. Same can be said about you.

This is NOT an AMA sanctioned event.

Their racing, their rules. Sorry you don't approve. Pretty sure, they don't care either.

lol, so nobody can give opinions on here because the sanctioning body isn’t reading our comments and doesn’t care. Sounds good. People give the AMA shit year round, it’s perfectly acceptable. I don’t understand why you’re so hell bent on defending a rule that is specific to this offshoot illegitimate racing series.

The same rule applies in MXGP, it's an FIM rule.

Yes, she's a Brit so that explains it.  But as I said, the had to choose when they turned 18.

+ Daniel Blair.  Strong broadcast presence. Though with his clothes he looked like he just went from mowing his lawn to the TV broadcast.

+ Kristen Beat. Good energy. Informed. Nice wardrobe. Enjoyed how she wrangled Larry Brooks into a real-time interview.

+ Jeff Emig.  Just solid. Almost too laid back! Knows the sport and comments well.

- Ralph Sheheen. 20 years earlier he would be fine but it's 2025. Not relevant.

Note: Watched for free via bein sport extra.
