I heard Emig talking about this, maybe on his latest Gypsy Tales episode? It sounds awesome and they're going warts and all. The 90s was my era and Emig was my favourite rider so I'm stoked for this.

I feel like Crusty Demons of Dirt and Frezno Smooth put together would be a '90s moto documentary. 😆

Either way, I'm in. Somebody get me a glitter-paint helmet and a Shift leisure suit.

I spent a few days in Big Bear with them and was able to watch what they’ve got done and it definitely brought back some memories…

I’ve spent time around Emig several times in the past, he’s actually a really good dude.
Jeremy is by far the most humble guy for his accomplishments. Just one of the boys…and not bad at riding a motorcycle either !
Not that I liked seeing him fall in the rock garden, but it sure makes it easier to accept for the rest of us. Lol

A historically accurate documentary already exists, it’s called Frezno Smooth.

Well we are of course stoked to have a roll in this film, we we're certainly right in there with the ninties and we did it different than anyone else. We took all the money from the video sales of Moto XXX #1 and started a little independant race team with Swink & Deegan. So ya, basically donated all the money we could of personally made/put in our pockets, and started what would go on to be one of the most successful (true to the word) privateer races teams. Of course staying in the freestyle scene too as we continued to make our Moto XXX videos that also continued to fund our race team.

We won a 125 Supercross with Brian Deegan with his infamous Ghost Ride at the LA Coluseum the first year we started our team in 1997

We won a 250 Outdoor Motocross race with Larry Ward at the Red Bud National in 2001..Beating out James Stewart!

Not bad for two punk rock drummers and a snowboard film maker!

You can read the awesome long article on our team history that Steve Matthes/Pulp MX did a while ago. It goes through all of our years as a race team. Here is the link >  https://pulpmx.com/2014/07/24/moto-xxx-the-complete-oral-history/

^Gotta admit, the '90s wouldn't have been the same without MotoXXX The Movie. That semi-homoerotic S&M "training session" with Deegan and... (Metzger?) is hilarious!

Check out the new trailer!

For those of you who might have been somewhat disappointed with the recent Pay Dirt doc, this promises to be way more insightful and full of genuine storytelling about the '90s era. It's for sure an inspired, limited-budget passion project that one would expect only from the most hardcore fans of the sport. Can't wait!
