Why Liquid Death is not part of our sport is beyond me?

Hit the nail on the head. Nrosso is just quoting some Fitness Bro on IG that made baseless claims, got roasted for it, and then deleted all his videos about it once everyone realized he was full of shit.

I’ve tried a few of these and cannot understand the hype other than no plastic.

It's just water. It's not supposed to be revelatory in any way.

The big thing is that they built their distribution and branding around serving it in bars and priced at bar drink level.

Exactly. It's just water. The athletes can drink it and don't have to pretend they love it! Their business model seems to fit with moto. Although I'm sure the energy drinks do not want them to get involved.

I drink roughly 6-1200mg of caffeine daily. While the celcius wernt super strong they didnt make me feel great. I probably drank 50+ over time and they made me kind of crash out. Almost the opposite effect of what its supposed to do. Ive been drinking ghost, c4, and rule1. The rule1 is probably the best for actual energy and easy on the stomach. It will make you tingle if you're not use to it. It's also the cheapest. So yeah something is up with the Celsius. Its hard on my stomach and makes me tired.

C4 Energy Drink

C4 Performance Energy (standard) contains 200 mg of caffeine per 16 fl oz can. Variants include:

•  C4 Smart Energy: 200 mg per 16 fl oz can (or 150 mg per 12 fl oz can).

•  C4 On The Go: 200 mg per 12 fl oz bottle.

•  C4 Ultimate: 300 mg per 16 fl oz can (higher-intensity option).

Rule One Energy Products

•  Energized Amino: 120 mg of caffeine per serving (one scoop, mixed with 8-12 oz water). Equivalent to a strong cup of coffee, from tea leaf and coffee bean extracts.

•  R1 Roar (pre-workout): Includes caffeine (exact mg not specified in sources, but supports alertness with tyrosine).

•  R1 Pre-Train Intense Energy: Uses multiple caffeine sources for sustained energy (amount not quantified, but designed to avoid crashes).

Celsius discontinued the "natural" sweetened one that was sweetened with stevia instead of artificial sweeteners.  Thats when i stopped drinking em.

A dangerous sport being sponsored by a company with "death" in their title doesn't give off the best optics.

Ive been doing carnivore for 10 months now. I was using caffeine pills as a way to get caffeine. Once i hit my goal weight i kinda switched to Celsius as a treat each day. Ive had no ill affects. I work construction and bust my ass. While carnivore changed me and made my life better, i still like the extra boost. Prior to 10 mon ago, i had tried most energy drinks even knowing theyre like poison, but i didn't care lol. Some really made me feel shitty. Celsius definitely gives me a cleaner feeling energy than some of the other pins n needles drinks. 2 a day for me during my fall rush of work. Lovin this one.

“I did a lot of my own research” “If you follow the money” “Go deeper”

If you hear any of those phrases, you’re about to hear one of the dumbest takes from a completely self-unaware person who thinks they’re smarter than they are.

I mean, they can't all have branding like this:

Celsius sponsors the 16 car in NASCAR’s top level.

I’ll drink an energy drink here and there and they usually don’t make me feel any different than normal.

Only motorsports link I saw was that they are a F1 Ferrari team sponsor.

NYT article is here: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/10/magazine/celsius-energy-drinks.html?unlocked_article_code=1.s08.P9WX.NoGcDKWaBi5l&smid=url-share

Celsius link is here: https://www.celsius.com

They have sponsored multiple teams in Nascar, including AJ Allmendinger. I believe William Byron has a personal contract with Celsius.

Real OGs know about the 4loko challenge when they had 4 flavors. Drink all 4 in one night and wake up with the shakes wishing your we’re dead

When I was at Ironman for MXoN, I noticed a few Star Yamaha team members had Celsius on them as they were walking into the pits.

I stay away from creatine on days I ride.  I tend to dehydrate quicker and get arm pump.

After ML made comments about Rockstar Husky in convo about changing drink sponsorship, Celsius makes a bit more sense if change happens.

We have limits on caffeine quantity per ml in NZ. Our Celsius have half the caffeine content of the US ones.

There is plastic inside the can, like all cans
