I went to the courthouse on Friday to pay the tabs on my pickup. As I walked out of the security check point building there was a large woman sitting on a bench just outside, listening to something. When I was about 30 feet past walking by her she says in a loud voice as there was no one else around, "Trump is a fascist and a rapist". I didnt turn around till I got to my vehicle. I thought to myself what i would have said if anything if she said it when i was facing her coming out of the security hut. And i think i would have stopped, looked right at her and said, "Ain't free speech the best?"

Had Democrat senators been suspected of conspiring with investigative targets to disrupt or block the certification of either the 2016 or 2024 elections as part of a wider plot I would hope and expect the FBI to investigate them and look into their call data too.
Just to remind you the architects the fake electors scheme (for which the senators phone records were sought) were mainly attorneys working in a personal capacity for Trump and all have since either been sanctioned or disbarred for their conduct. Had you not re-elected Trump, based somewhat on his deceptive ability to con millions of you into believing that he had been unfairly persecuted, it's possible some of them would be sitting inside a jail cell today.

Just a note that the term "fake electors" was made up to create a narrative that didn't exist. Any one that has ever managed anything knows that in case plan x does not happen as expected you need alternate plans. And if a state has a discrepancy that changes the count, you need alternate electors already established. It's been done in the past, it'll be done in the future.
