Are Any Vitards going? I'm surprised how little attention this event is getting. Dirtbikes at the beach? And it's free and open to the public? Count me in!

Oh dang had not heard anything about it. We're going to the Speedway National Championship at Costa Mesa tomorrow night, might have to do both
SoCal is hit or miss when it comes to interest in arenacross. I attended one years ago in Long Beach and it was running in conjunction with the annual motorcycle show at the convention center, which is usually very well attended. But not many people showed up for the racing…
I did some quick research, it's "Free" unless you want to be in the grandstands where you can actually see the track. Those are "VIP" tickets and are $80.00 a head. Speedway's going to be enough $ already, going to give this one a pass. On another note if it's anything like the straight rhythm by the river jetty a couple years ago I'd run. 😄 It was sold out hours before and people were packed in like sardines, I mean if you're super friendly and like being crammed shoulder to shoulder with thousands of people in a small space have at it lol. I'm gonna pass. We'll be at Speedway in turn 2 👍
I don't know who the regular pros will be on that series; I don't think their schedule is helpful to the privateers. I think a lot more will be in GT and Partzilla. Wish somehow all the series could work together and bring it back to the glory days.

I just passed through there. It’s being run in conjunction with the Moto Beach classic which was well attended last year. Full day of motorcycles on the beach and a pretty cool event. It’s actually in the parking for the beach right next to the sand dune which helps for viewing. I’ll probably be there around noon.
I didn't even know the series was already starting until I saw Matty B did a video about it. And the series goes to Canada, but those don't count towards championship AMA? Only one night of racing at US events, but 2 in Canada? Going to be another era of trying to grow the series I think. I went to the season finale a few years ago in Lexington, maybe KP's last championship year, but there was only a handful of people there.
I will be there. Denm is playing a free concert also there. Motocross and concert for free is for me
They are working together now they’re all under AMA and kicker + GT have formed the arenacross alliance.
Very few if any big names in Arenacross anymore so no real reason to go. Mike Kidd did it right and it was standing room only, now its just a small local type race anymore.
Wife and I are flying up to Long Beach Airport tomorrow to head to the MBC, mainly to just catch up with industry pals and putter around. Sunday we'll be at Cars n' Copters, also in HB, before heading back to San Diego. Good weekend of rad machines. https://www.carscopterscoast.org/
All for this series growing but dang that spread this out for sure. Only the guys support will attend this series. Should be cool to see west coast guys show up.
I saw their press release. But their final is on Dallas Supercross, so afraid thatll hurt this years attendance.
This race starts in 20 minutes on MAVTV (RacerTV), for anyone wanting to watch it.
Nothing on the RydeTV app.
Working great on MAVTV
On right after I posted.
Man, track looks a little rough
That still happening after the crash?

Wow! That's crazy, very lucky no one got killed!
Someone said this was Deegan he wanted to watch the mains.
In all seriousness hope all involved are okay.
That helicopter crash was gnarly! I was watching one of the qualifiers and saw a ton of firetrucks heading south.
Track looked okay. Normal arenacross. Dirt was dry. Good racing. Overall super fun event with a good atmosphere. Security wasn't tight at all either. I had fun
Kind of a shit show.

I’ve been getting all of the angles sent to me and it’s a miracle no one is dead. The palm trees definitely helped out with the landing. So crazy to see that. I had to work today or I would have been down that way. It was a couple of miles away from the races. Good thing 👍
The place was packed and was a good ass time. Had twice as many people this year and hope arena cross makes it back next year.
Motorcycles on the beach, 💯 free to attend…. How is anything about this negative? 😂
Many WSX guys, a few SX guys, a handful of AX regulars. Some of the top racers here were Ryan Breece, Cole Thompson, Robbie Wageman, Austin Politelli, Brandon Ray, Justin Starling. Some young guys that impressed were Jeremey Fappiani and Reven Gordon
The above pic was taken from the vip area directly behind is a beach bar that had live music all day then behind that was the vendor area, then a mini street course, then motorcycle parking. Stuff to see and do for about a half mile along the beach. All for free! Well not really, $9 12 oz. Beers but hey gotta pay to play. See you next year.
People ask how to elevate the sport. This is it. Professional dirt bike racing on the beach next to busy PCH and along the beach bike/walk path and all for free. That part of Bolsa Chica is busy year round especially the bike/walking path on the weekends. You’re gonna get lots of eyes on it that wouldn’t otherwise go out of their way and buy a ticket for supercross.
Also, my kid got to run all over the track when it was over. Such a cool event.
My thoughts, exactly. It was a great event. Even if you don't ride and aren't core
