Yes they have.
We've heard about the diet, biking cardio, and the weight training, but what form of yoga was Carmichael put through that allowed him to endure such incredible crashes and spring to his feet completely unscathed? How many sessions a week is recommended? The dude was like rubber.
With that said, anyone using an ex cycling guy as a trainer is suspect. IMPO, not a single world class cyclist is clean.
No facts here guys, just my opinion.
Pit Row
Then again in my personal opinion, and it's just my opinion. Anyone who is being trained by an ex world class cyclist like Baker, is more than likely taking some type of performance enhancing drugs.
I dont doubt they take nutritional supplements, nothing is wrong with that. But illegal supplements? No way, not RC, i seriously doubt it.
It's all good with me.
I am not even sure that it was illegal for the most part of RCs career. Dave or some of the others here might be able to either correct me, or shed some light on this.
they have tested several riders in the USA , People in Europe just don't want to believe we kick their ass without drugs.
while they are and were racing SX and MX. I know one thing that is fact and not my personal opinion is that Ryan Villopoto from the time he got on a dirtbike and played soccer had the "natural ability" to go full out for a much longer time than anybody he
played or rode against and in the heat was able to continue strong when others withered
on the vine. Some people with natural abilities don't need PED's, its the ones without that try to compete at their level that are usually using. I don't know about RC and JS, but
I know Ryan hired Aldon because he was the trainer of 2 of the best all time racers in this
sport, not so he could get hooked up on PED's, he doesn't need them to compete.
As you should already know. I am always on the side of the rider, but we all have opinions, and my opinion is, world class cycling is as dirty as it get's when it comes to PEDS.
That's my opinion, and if that offends you then I apologize, it's not meant to.
