McGrath in the 90s... Hands down!

Although Everts is definitely up there. Out of the modern cats think Pourcel has them covered!

What about the fella in the black&white pick with his bars dragging in the sand while railing a berm down here in Oz? MXoN mid 90's I believe.
That's a killer pic.

I don't think I've seen anything that comes close to that low. In the berm that is.

Awesome.

No, that's not Jeff Emig.

We've never been able to determine who the rider was.

Anyone know?

MC in 2000 and 2001. For some reason I'm a bigger fan of his style in those years. Also, the guy who started as an MC clone then developed a bit of his own style:

That was J-Bone in Emigs riding gear.....

Jeff was back in the bush puffin' quid and learning didgeridoo from the natives.

Don't hate,
he was seventeen years old
&
did it for all the ladies down under

Are you not on his fansite?????

Yes that is Emig. I was there. He is actually crashing in this photo........ If the cameraman had snapped this a second later all he would have got was Emig in a big heap. Bottom section of Manjimup MX Track at Cozy Creek just out side of Manjimup, Western Australia in at the 1992 MX Des Nations. Everts had him covered that day but a flat rear tire that ended up coming off the rim put an end to that.

Wow. There's a lot of media out there that says different.
I'm not arguing, just haven't heard that perspective before.

as i can see, it`s nothing wrong with ryan dungey`s riding style, especially foots on the pegs at whoops, helps much suspension work. , through many years watching grand prix motocross( i`m NOT heikki mikkola!), the riding techniques have changed, still many top riders have had even "not so good" technique, maybe supercross demands more sophisticated riding, but i believe that a rider with "top" everything will make it.

Josh Grant has the ultimate mix between aggressive and smooth. He rides so smooth while keeping an aggressive look. + His whips are insane.

Lol and your not buying my J Bone tail either? I'm telling you it's a true story!

Emig probably could have smoked Everts but Albrecht couldn't prise him away from celebrity fan Ernie Dingo and pals. Fro was too busy learning the lyre song and talking shit about Paul Hogan so J Bone suited up and laid waste on the Y Zinger.

Albrecht made a pact with fro never to disclose, so long as he could share some ofthe limelight hence his cameo in 90s cult classic Fresno Smooth.

I coaxed this info out of Jeff at the nations in Matterly Basin in 06, when my wife plyed him with vodka and red bull, he loved her Scottish accent and talked about how he always wanted to travel to Scotland and have a shot on the bagpipes, whilst recounting his encounter with the didgeridoo in years past.

We also discussed young antonio's spanking of the world earlier that day aboard the de carli 250f and how it was actually claudio aboard the yammie, but I don't want to get into that on a public forum or I'll have the scicillian's chapping my door......

American riders in Europe don't often get alot of love from either sides of the pond but one exception has to be this guy, style for my miles and class that only one can be born with....

I love Rattray's over the front, hard charging style. Its amazing to watch.

Grant always looks good.

and you can never leave this kid out.

Cairoli style is very unique as well.

i remember when jean michel bayle was racing 125 gp:s; his riding was then nothing like later years on bigger bikes, he rather hammered his little honda with throttle open. , soon he managed to change totally his riding style, to one of smoothest of all.
