Gaerne boots are the way to go they are extremely well made, fit and wear awesome.

The GX-1 is their lower priced boot at about $200 and it is an excellent boot for the price, Motosport has them.

The Gaerne SG-12 is the upper class and best boots. I have SG-10s which are affordable and amazing boots. I'm on my third pair now because I outgrew the last one and sold the first ones to a friend.

I finally got a pair of sg12's after having several pairs of sg10's. As good as the 10s were I prefer the 12s. Gearne makes the best fitting boots I have ever worn.

Gaerne or Sidi. You'll know where the money went. The Italians get it right.

I cant really say because the only boots ive ever worn have been oneal, thor (back in the day), alpinestar tech 8s,7s,6s, and gaerne gx-1, & sg 10s.

Best boots would probably have to be a tie between the Tech 8s, and SG 10.

Alp tech 8s are a little heavier and the arche on the sole wears out fast. Sometimes in big chunks. They hold ankle support longer than the sg10s though. Im guessing its the same deal with the tech 10s.

SG 10s loose support in the ankle faster in my opinion, but the soles are tough as shit.

If I was you i would save up a little patience and money and find a good deal on some SG 12s. Even though I have never wore them lol. I can tell they are really good boots. And will probably be cheaper since your not picky about color.

Yes I'm sponsored by them. But that doesn't mean I'm just making stuff up either. I've had one pair for almost two years now and still wear them all the time. I used to run fox and they would be done within 6 months. I ride two days a week atleast and still haven't worn out a pair. Usually I just get rid of them when I get my new ones. Me and my brother Ricky both run them and have never had problems. A lot of people in Florida are starting to run them now and I haven't heard any complaints

Just sold my pr. I won Sz. 10 for $200.00 NIB in White. needed cash to help pay for my treatments.

Not sure what that would matter. Wey's wearing them and several pro's. It's a great boot for the price and the new Pro2.1 is even a better boot.

I've tried tech 8s fox sidi and nothing comes close to being as comfortable or reliable as the tcx. They have awesome ankle support too

X2 on the tcx boots. BTO sports and extreme supply have them on close out, depends on size, i believe tcx is coming out with a new model, thats why they are closeout sales, great boots, mine broken in approx one hr! , compared to my fox boots, took me like 2 riding days to break in!

Sidi's are good if you want to be able to touch your toes to your shins for any reason. Everything about those boots is nice except for the ankle support - of which there is zero.

Tech 10's. SG10's or 12's.

SG-10's are the best boots I've ever owned.
Really comfortable and they last a long time for the money.

I get them handed down to me from someone who runs them, they are good to go, especially for the money. Out of the box, they don't require much break in either. Keep an extra strap or two around just in case.

Every set of Alpinestars I get seem to be lower and lower in quality. No more for me.

There are some great deals on the TCX Pro 2s. I guess the Pro 2.1 is the new version and the older ones are going for about $250. I need a new pair of boots and that just did it for me.

DDub8, check bto sports, or extreme supply, i think they have them for $200, random sizes and colors, great boot for the money IMO!

TCX boots are really comfortable and durable. At the price they offer them they are a steal compared to the higher priced Astar, Gaerne, and Sidi boots. Was skeptical about them at first, but they have proven me wrong in every way!
