Love him or hate him, Deegan is faster than the entire class by a lot. He proved it in both motos. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

And yet, he fails to win consistently throughout the year. Total waste of his talent and career. Thanks to his ego and narcissistic behavior.

I think that when you come back from an 11 second deficit in one moto and then come from 5th, pass the leader and let him by then pass again it’s saying something. Less brains, but a bunch of speed. Most likely would have been first 250 both motos at the MXdN.

If Deegan is faster than the β€œentire class by a lot”, why was his fastest lap only two tenths faster than Jo in the first race (even with cutting corners in a number of sections) and slower by a full second in the last race?

ok yea but the 1st moto ehhh , cause we can say tht alot bout chase & Jett right πŸ€” its 1 thing to catch up to the guy but its another to pass them , we have race evidence on tape of JO & chance on certain days taking it to deegs straight up , but deegs could do this on a consistent basis where for JO & chance , its track dependent

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. To my knowledge, he’s never raced outside his own country. Until he’s willing to test himself against the best, he’ll remain just a YouTube star. This weekend needs to be a moment of learning and reflectionβ€”does he want to be a true contender with results, or is it only about money and fame

He might be the fastest, just not the smartest.

That is not an unpopular opinion at all. A lot of people think that.

I think most people would agree. Yet here we are, and he's not racing, again. So now we'll never know, and it's just a bunch of talk.

Deegan's performance in the first moto at Las Vegas was amazing.  It reminded me of how McGrath used to slice through the pack back in the 1990's.  His second moto antics undid any positive goodwill I may have harbored - forever.  Between the Loretta's debacle a few years ago and his behavior in Vegas, I will never be a fan of him or Star Yamaha.  Furthermore,  the AMA's blatant disregard for this crap is unforgivable.

It wasn't that long ago that Jeff Emig and Jason Lawrence suffered far more severe consequences for relatively benign behavior.

Really really Bad take right here…I get everyone is upset..but like you turn your brain off..two outdoor titles, 250 sx, and two SMX titles..far from total waste. He could stop now and career better than 99% racers…

And IF he haven’t gotten taken out in St Louis ….. he would be a god and great for the USA in 2 weeks so there is that.

No respect for danger boy after his clown act in the second moto.  Don't care how fast he is...he's lost fans for the BS he pulled on Joe.

Recognizing reality shouldn’t be unpopular.

HD is blazing fast, he’s won a lot of races/championships. He’s just a jerk sometimes when it comes to public speaking and sportsmanship. He doesn’t come across as genuine, he seems really arrogant and unkind. He’s probably gonna win a lot more races and championships, and maybe he becomes a decent human during his moto career, maybe not. As of today, it’s looking like not..
