As MX66 wrench mentioned, Jimmy felt right at home with DV, Genova, Eddie and some other members of the staff. The bike, the team, everything felt like a great fit. The twitter comments pertain more to the disappointment of conversations that lead Jimmy to believe he would be riding for MotoConcepts and he was very excited about the opportunity.
Vince needs to make sure he doesn't go the JLaw route w/life because he would for sure be the most popular guy in jail.
Oh and BTW Vince (I'm sure he's checked this thread out) don't take us morons to serious. None of us know you on a personal level and every last one of us wishes we were fast enough to even be considered for a team of any kind. Shit I'd settle for a 15% off retail ride at this point.

As Mr. Matthes said above, it's his deal, his money, his team, etc..........
What I've seen lately with the influx of as you say, "outside money", is that they'll just do as they damn well please.
But as things go, being a success elsewhere doesn't always add up to being one here.
In recent years I've seen plenty, we all have. It's the "3 2 5" I call it.
As in 3 to 5 years.
Accounting 101 says the end must justify the means.
And believe me, some where on their payroll they all certainly have them!
Sure, outside of the work ethic being applied the same as from where they came, things like common sense and ego get in the way.
I do applaud them however, and that's not just for creating jobs, but for trying!
However they arrived here, they're trying which is awesome.
Winning is different than in construction or business. Though similar principals apply, I can see the flaws throughout their season and years.
For the few, it's their money to waste.
Sure, being the head of your own pin does have it's perks, but outside of opinions, people at the top of their field are there for a reason. The depth and experiences that went into it all went into it over time.
Though the money side has it's say, it's been shown plenty recently that they're clearly better from which they came, in other words look learn and certainly listen.
The difference between success and failure is an easy one to make.
Especially here, and it shows.
Remember all, when the curtain goes up, it's for all to see.
Results or a lack there of, speak louder than words................
