What do you think is better as an end of season race
I know this has the points incorporated from the seasons results but with the double and triple that head start has almost become irrelevant in my opinion.
Personally I wish monster cup was back!
Poll
Straight Rhythm.
I voted SMX because you get all the best guys which wasn’t always the case with Monster Cup. Plus SMX is three events as opposed to one.
Exactly . Plus Monster Cup had the idiotic joker lane . But it's not really even a good comparison . Monster Cup was a one off race in October , they could still run it if they wanted .
I’ll always go with more races to watch.

I don’t know how after tonight’s 250 race and how the points line up going into the final round you could think Monster Cup was more exciting.
I’m not on board with this being “the most prestigious championship” but it really is fun to watch. Deegan needs to win and have Jo get 3rd or worse. You already know there will be fire works next week at the finale. I’m excited!
Racing wise SMX. I imagine lots of the voters for monster cup isnt a fan of smx from the cancellation situation last week.
I actually despise the “playoff championship” gimmick. The broadcast tries to make it seem like it means more than it really does. Im sure its NBC pushing that narrative but whatever.
Especially with the points system. How can you win the first 4-5 races and still have a big chance of losing? Ill take the extra racing, but the glazing is unreal for the “SMX champs”.
I voted SMX because the payday goes all the way down. Monster Cup was a great payday for the winner, but beyond that, I don't think the rest of the field got much if anything.
I liked how experimental Monster Cup was; joker lane, having the start from the top of the stands, etc. It helped separate it from other Supercross races. SMX is ok; i like that it's brought SX and MX together, helped revitalize the nats, etc. The actually racing itself, though, has been mediocre.
But Straight Rhythm was the coolest. I thought it would be too gimmicky, but it actually produced some good racing, and it was nice seeing 2-strokes take center stage again.
I just watched some super enjoyable racing in the middle of September. That was cool. And it's going to happen again next week.
