Over 800k in jobs, and counting almost at a MILLION in jobs revised from the Biden administration. The insanity that lead that administration is beyond something.

Whatever you want to think about the jobs report, the economy is worse today than it was 1 year ago.

Isn't the point of these bogus numbers that the economy was much worse than we were being told it was 1 year ago?

What are you seeing on the ground? I'm seeing budgets tightening, prices rising, sales down across many different sectors; Industrial, restaurants, retail, vacation rentals, home sales, everything. Some retail items are on sale because inventory isn't moving.

This has been posted about before, but the jobs reporting data is pretty much useless in modern times.  If a company were to post a remote job to 20 different major markets, it would count as 20 different jobs even though all of the listings are for the same job.  In today's day and age we have the ability to track jobs, inflation, and consumer data in real time, yet the powers that be still choose to use incredibly antiquated systems that are more of an educated guess (google what the birth/death ratio for businesses is if you really want to have your mind blown) and expect us to believe they are competent.  With a jobs "revision" this bad people should be going to jail, that's not a mistake that's deliberate falsification of data.

Stopped at BK yesterday. First time in a very long time. 6 cheeseburgers and a fries...$21. What's wrong with this picture?

We're still reeling from the inflation brought about by the past administration's disastrous economic policies

They literally wore out the printing presses.

And as far as their job numbers, how many times were the intial over inflated numbers get revised soon after ??

Not to mention a huge percentage of them being unproductive public sector gold brickers.

I know in the NW things are still upside down. I paid 409 at the pump yesterday. Construction is slow and hasn’t changed much in the last 3 years. Gas prices in Washington are always amongst the highest in the nation due to the ever rising gas tax we have up here. Being patient and hoping for a better economic situation in 26. Hopefully we’ll see some noticeable improvement.

Yeah, this is all due to the last 7 months. For sure. Not the Fed. Not the Great Inflation of 2021. Just Trump.

Bingo, and that is the point behind all of this.  OPTICS... everything was propped up and falsified.  I can't honestly believe individuals still gobble it up, and say yeah well Tariffs this, and Trump that. No that large of a correction is unheard of.  It does not happen. Ever.....

Can you break that down for me? I would like to know how, in which sectors, what exactly is worse.  Specifically core goods percentage change, income ratio, consumer goods, credit card debt change percentage etc.  When you give that information out, then you can make the claim. Until then, your just another disgruntled person on the internet spewing BS

So let me get this right... You believe the Trump admins. correction to be accurate and a bad look for the previous admin, but you also believe it's about optics and everything being propped up and falsified?

I follow numbers plain and simple. I follow markets, and data.  When you have a ton of "jobs" being added that are part time, seasonal, or perhaps illegal immigrants are holding. Then those immigrants go away, the real jobs numbers are not supposed to include part time, seasonal work etc.  But the Biden administration added that to the jobs reports and included them. That is the correction for the jobs.

As far as the prop up? Yes, we have been propped up for MANY years. Each time we print money 2008 ring a bell? Covid? Stimi checks? Yeah that money gets placed immediately into the market by large corps. What happens is a double whammy.  Big corps get richer, yet at the same time the dollar value depreciates hurting the regular citizen.  So now, the big corps value is sky rocketing and propped up on a devalued dollar and the company is bloated. Then what happens? Reality strikes, those corps then start cutting jobs... remember a few years ago? White collar management positions start getting eliminated and companies start cutting back to equilibrium. Now we are getting closer to the real job numbers, like JMB mentioned they use old tech much like voting instead of getting real data. But the numbers and jobs are now closer in line than before.

Thirty seven trillion dollars these jack asses have fucked away and they think they can tell us what to do. Fuck em all. They’re never coming for your Bible or your guns. They’re going to simply price us out of existence. We need to do what’s going on in Nepal.

Thanks! You are actually on the right track. St. Louis does a great job of breaking everything down.  The other thing to point out, this point today vs one year prior is not worse. It is actually better. With that said, it is FAR off from where we need to be as a country.  My fear is AI and tech jobs.  All those software engineer jobs are going bye bye.  Data jobs, bye bye... So I truly wonder how we are going to get good paying quality jobs moving forward.  Manufacturing will come back slowly, as will trade positions.

Man you are a waste of space, you have contributed absolutely nothing to the actual conversation. Certain things you may want to consider, when someone does something well, I give congrats, and admiration their way. When they are a retard, I call them a retard. Early, for example took the time and provided information, not all, but some, and he was on the right path. That is called contribution, and value to the thread.  On the other hand is yourself... Try and figure out the difference.

Do you realize the economy was a sinking ship the last couple years and how long it takes to fix something like this and turn it around?  I would expect things to be worse than last year, because it can take a couple years or even more based on how much damage was done, to turn the ship around.

It takes time and doesn't happen on Election Day as it seems you think is possible.

Naw man, we were told by, and voted for a guy, who said he'd handle that on day one. Guess he lied or is actually incapable of doing what he said?

You can start fixing it on day one, but I don't know anyone who thinks the world's biggest economy can be fixed in a day.
