If there is a bigfoot...it has to exist in incredibly small numbers in a very remote/isolated part of the country...

These bigfoot believers go around claiming all of the bigfoot "sightings" across the country are real, then that would mean there are populations of bigfoot across the entire country, and that would mean that there is a large enough population of them that one would have been hit by a car, a carcass would have been found, a den stumbled upon, one of them shot, etc. etc.

Either there is a small population in a remote/isolated part of the country, or they don't exist at all...there is no in between.

Though I will say, my family owns 6000 acres of mountain property in Eastern Utah...there are bears and mountain lions on the property...In my 44 years spending a ton of time there, I've seen one mountain lion (when not using dogs to hunt them), and maybe 15 black bear in my entire life and I've never seen a bear or mountain lion carcass.  But I have found poop and seen lots of tracks from both of them.  So, a small population of bigfoot in an isolated part of the country is possible...though incredibly unlikely.

That wouldn't be in the La Sal mountains area would it? They just had a big forest fire.

I have spent A LOT of time in the woods in the PNW.  Probably literally 2+ years of my life.

I've also spent a lot of my years living in logging towns and have many close friends and family that are loggers, these guys are in the woods 10+ hours a day.... never heard a big foot sighting from anyone I know.

It might be fun to fantasize about bigfoot existing but.... they don't.  I'd bet my entire net worth on it.

I'm a big Utah fan along with Colorado. I go out that way at least once a year. Heading out there in about 2 weeks as a matter of fact. Not 100% what we're going to do this time, might cruise on through and then hang a right and on up to Yellowstone and maybe even up to Glacier.

Well, if you're coming from Colorado into Utah and heading north...you'll likely take I-70 West and then US-6 at Green River UT on up to I-15.  I was born and raised in Price, UT...my entire family(brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, grand parents...all of them) still lives there (that's coal country...I'm from 4 generations of Coal Miners...my dad, and my brothers all still mine coal...I'm the "black sheep" of the family who got out). Our mountain property is in the mountains due North of Wellington on US 6.

If you haven't yet, I'd check out the San Rafael Swell...Buckhorn Wash/Little Grand Canyon is amazing, and national park worthy, but without the crowds.  Nine Mile Canyon is amazing if you're interested in native american rock art.  Goblin Valley is great.

My brother in law and his buddy were camping/hiking in the Blue mountains of SE Washington.  Though they didn't see it, their claim is one was throwing rocks at the upslope on a trail they were hiking. I'm also quite sure they were stoned most of the time.

The big argument against of course is the number of game cameras out in the forest. Nobody gets a picture of one

Last time we came down 6 from the North a couple of years back they were doing some heavy road construction. A semi coming from the opposite direction kicked up a big rock and almost took me out in the Jeep. Luckily it hit the A pillar instead of coming through the windshield but it left a nice little dent in the A pillar. I haven't been back to Little Grand Canyon and it looks like it would have been a good spot to explore in the Jeep but we're probably going to take the Tesla this time. It looks like there is no paved access to it? I've driven by Goblin Valley coming up from Hanksville but never did drive back to it. Good suggestion as we need to find some new stuff we haven't explored before. Nine Mile Canyon looks like it might at least be tar and chipped?

I really would love to have the Jeep out there and hit the Mountain Passes in Colorado on the way out as well but after having the Tesla with FSD I just don't have any desire to drive the Jeep cross country again. We've put 80,000 miles on the Jeep in the last 3 years road tripping but I think those days are over. Smile I'm thinking about trading the Jeep in on a Cybertruck and driving it to Alaska next summer but don't know if I can pull the trigger because of the looks. Smile Plus it wouldn't be as capable as the Jeep but it could handle light offroad. I might rent a Jeep once we get to Colorado with the money we save on gas. Smile

No paved roads to little grand canyon...though the gravel roads are almost always in good enough shape to get a car there (bad weather being the exception), but you'd be on foot after that (still plenty to see/do with just a short walk along the canyon rim).

9 Mile canyon is tar and chipped, with the most popular rock art right off the road, or a short walk off the road (lots of maps to tell you where all the good stuff is).

Goblin Valley is really cool...its all hiking.  And you can take an hour or two and walk around the Hoodoo's...or more time and go further (over night) if you want.

Also, right near Goblin Valley is a really cool slot canyon called "little wild horse"...drive right too it, and then its an easy hike up the canyon.  (Just don't do it if there is any rain anywhere in the area...very prone to flash floods).

US 6 is a brutal canyon...all the semi-truck traffic back connect Salt Lake City to I-70, plus all the tourism traffic and RV's...it makes for a brutal drive on holiday weekends.

If there are any bigfoot they're definitely not in the continental US, Russia or China or Amazon would be the only slight chance.

If there is a bigfoot...it has to exist in incredibly small numbers in a very remote/isolated part of the country...

These bigfoot believers go around claiming all of the bigfoot "sightings" across the country are real, then that would mean there are populations of bigfoot across the entire country, and that would mean that there is a large enough population of them that one would have been hit by a car, a carcass would have been found, a den stumbled upon, one of them shot, etc. etc.

the wife and i were driving back from Moab and decided to head up the Hwy 191 from Price and go to Strawberry for a couple nights. earlyafternoon on the way down into Duschesne about 10 miles from the intersection we saw something in the sky maybe 100 feet above the road.  i still don't know what we saw but it was there above the highway for about 3-5 seconds then it just wasn't there anymore.  we went about a mile then i looked at her and asked if she saw it too. same thing, she has no way to describe it but she saw it too, clear as day.

on the way home a couple days later we were just about to drop down Daniels Summit and there was fucking big grey wolf standing there on the side of the road watching us pass.

i've had a lot of really weird stuff happen up by Strawberry as well as in the Uintahs.  we have a family on Mirror Lake Hwy and i've had a lot of really really strange happenings. there's a lot of stories about people going missing and never heard from again up there. lot's of them actually.

I know it was short/quick, but did you or the wife catch a pic or video of it? 100 feet up is not that high for something to be flying around. Any military bases or research centers in the area? Drone? Is it near Skinwalker Ranch?

As far as Bigfoot goes, I'm surprised no one has been shot and killed trying to pull a prank. Playing in the woods or near someone's house could be dangerous. Shit happens quick.

I've always wondered what would happen to someone if that scenario happened. "I thought it was Bigfoot, so I shot it." Other side could argue it doesn't exist because there's no proof or evidence it does and the person should've known better than to shoot at something unknown. I suppose in a counterargument a person could say they got scared and feared for their life so shot it.

It actually isn’t that far from Skinwalker Ranch.

I suppose in a counterargument a person could say they got scared and feared for their life so shot it.

i swear I've told the story on here before but basically we're driving on a beautiful mountain pass and there's just this thing in the sky ahead of us. it was kind of mesmerizing in a way that we were both completely speechless until a few moments later after it was already long gone from sight that we even registered what was going on. it sounds fuckin stupid but it's like there was about 10-15 seconds in time that are unaccounted for and when we tried to explain what we had both experienced it's impossible. i don't even have a description of what i saw but best i could explain would be a shimmer was there for a few seconds then it was not there, it didn't fly away or move, i didn't really see a shape or lights or anything, just a shimmering object and it was very visibly there then it wasn't.

still the absolute weirdest thing that i've ever seen in my life.

Skinwalker Ranch is about 45 miles from the spot we saw whatever it was we saw.

US 6 is a brutal canyon...all the semi-truck traffic back connect Salt Lake City to I-70, plus all the tourism traffic and RV's...it makes for a brutal drive on holiday weekends.

we also got ding and dang real close to little wild horse, a little more in-depth with some stemming and descents but still doable without harnesses, we can do it in 5 hours.

Kings peak in the uinta basin area is super awesome hike, we did the 50 mile loop this summer and it was awesome, definitely recommend if your interested in hiking, sits 13,528ft tallest peak in Utah. We were up there for 5 days fishing and hiking, awesome experience didn't see bigfoot though 😄

the wife and i were driving back from Moab and decided to head up the Hwy 191 from Price and go to Strawberry for a couple nights. earlyafternoon on the way down into Duschesne about 10 miles from the intersection we saw something in the sky maybe 100 feet above the road.  i still don't know what we saw but it was there above the highway for about 3-5 seconds then it just wasn't there anymore.  we went about a mile then i looked at her and asked if she saw it too. same thing, she has no way to describe it but she saw it too, clear as day.

on the way home a couple days later we were just about to drop down Daniels Summit and there was fucking big grey wolf standing there on the side of the road watching us pass.

Living near a couple of campgrounds and had the great idea to do just that (prank the campers). I had this horse hair blanket and gloves that we decided we would make a bigfoot costume and prank the campers from LA. When it was brought up that we would get shot, we dropped all plans in favor of staying alive. 🤣

I used to live backed up to DNR land and when my friend wanted to make a short film about Sasquatch and do it around my house I was all in, even was going to be Bigfoot himself. Once the ball was rolling I got all stressed out thinking for sure I’m going to get shot… haha, glad it never materialized in a way 😆

Yep I believe your story as I've seen UFO's more than once in Arizona--considered "UFO ALLEY".

Is your story in this thread?🤔

Cant explain it or anything but driving thru Nevada late at night I saw a blue square in the sky. It did the same thing people always describe, it was kinda stationary in the sky and then just blasted away. Military? I don’t have any idea what it was but I saw it and it was crazy
