The constant use of the word COMFORTABLE by the talking heads is nauseating. It’s even worse when Shrill Wil opens her pie hole and uses it three times in a single run on sentence. I wish they’d find a new buzz word. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. Give it a break.

Misophonia treatment is a multidisciplinary approach focused on managing symptoms, as there is no single cure. Effective treatments often include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which teaches coping mechanisms and reframes reactions to trigger sounds, and Sound Therapy, which uses background noise to desensitize the brain to triggers. Other approaches can involve occupational therapy for sensory processing, medication for co-occurring anxiety or depression, and lifestyle changes to reduce exposure to trigger sounds.

I hope you find the comfort you seek.

Is there a better word to describe a rider that is happy with his bike set up?  🙃

Steezy would be used if riders were throwing whips that looked really cool. Just my thoughts.

I think it takes some effort to add new racing adjectives to your lexicon that don’t sound contrived.  I know when I was writing Cycle News articles, after a bit I was trying to come up with them—perhaps just because I was tired of using the same description again and again.

I think some landed well, but after seeing the articles in print, I’d see some them and go “ouch!”.

Maybe they get together offline and strategize about language and try some things out before using them in the booth—or phrases to avoid.  They might already be doing that.

Yea most of those descriptors don’t mean ‘comfortable’

I couldn't agree more. Chase Sexton is addicted to that word!
