Why is moving it to tomorrow not an option? SMX is a joke.

They should run 3 motos at another round.

A whole lot of build up for a crap track, a bunch of injuries, and half a day of racing. Weather can't be helped but damn, what an anticlimax 

Hopefully the next round isn't as sketchy and the weather plays ball

Disappointed it was cancelled. But honestly that track was ruined before weather hit it and as fans probably aren't missing out on much. 

Though the riders who had bad first motos must be pissed off they didn’t get a chance to improve their overalls. 

It’s still lightning at the track. Even vital should be able to understand you can’t race with lightning. I assume some of you won’t understand though…

All the riders are probably happy that they dont have to ride on that ouiji board of a track. 

It looked like the crowd was on the light side.  Deegan said he's a professional and will race on whatever they give him.  Good for him  He didn't say the track "Shoulda or Coulda"!

In all seriousness this stinks. When the last canceled moto? Hangtown 1991?

I know some have been shortened due to lightning/rain and the SX couple years back when they canceled because they couldn't even get the track built.

Probably lights for the drag area…but not for the off drag strip parts.  Now….they could tape flashlights on the front fender.  How come I feel RJ would straight up kick ass in that scenario??

I think we’ll be fine it’s an indoor stadium…..

Epic failure 

Glad we didn’t go to Charlotte this year.  I feel terrible for anyone who travelled from out of state or from overseas and only got 50% of the racing they were expecting.  Has to be a better way than this.  It’s hard to take this shit seriously when there’s seemingly no option besides essentially stealing from your fans.

I admit I was wrong to not cut the producers any slack when wind wreaked havoc on their satellite feed. And I totally understand the organizers’ decision to cancel due to lightning. I get it.

But I reserve my right to kvetch about crappy production decisions! 😆

Edit: And the AMA has got to do something about the timing/scoring issues.

Maybe knitting or stamp collecting is more your sport?
