This view is pretty fucked. The French lost 125,000 men killed during the early stages of the German invasion of France in WW2. The reason for France's surrender was not to do with the cowardice of the troops but the terrible strategy and organisation of the army leadership.
Not to mention that you can leave the sport anytime you want.
Comparing a firefighter to a pastor?
Sounds to me like the shock engineered, manufactured and tuned by Austrians threw in the white flag first

No, not jealous in the least, I think it’s great these kids are making a living racing. But it’s the easy life compared to the average everyday guy like myself. I suppose compared to lots of people, I am spoiled when you put it like that, aren’t we all then? But then again not nearly as spoiled as a professional MX rider. You think any one of these kids would choose my road over theirs? That’s a rhetorical question because we both know the answer.😂
Yeah back in January. Then it was up to the team to find a fix. 8 months and nothing
Totally inaccurate 25.8 per hr maybe in trucking 250-300 k truckers die every yr. Military during 2 wars numbers where very low 04 to 2018. More people died in bath tubs each yr.
100%. The firefighters at our church would happily tell you our pastor is their mentor and that they admire him deeply - and vice versa.
Sorry you live in a sour little echo chamber and don’t know any men like this.
Man good point imagine if the US would have surrendered after 125k casualties.
He should have borrowed a shock from RJ. He didn’t seem to have any problems this year.
Not true. He's talked about his suspension issues in interviews a few times. He's done well despite it, but he's had issues. Malcolm even said recently that he decided to just accept it and learn to ride with it instead of making changes chasing it. he didn't say he was leaving it alone because it was good.
I stand corrected. Kudos to RJ for doing so well. I’ve been very impressed by him this season - even more so now.
Why do the French have beautiful trees along all of their roads?
Because the Germans like marching in the shade
Seriously…
When did KTM shocks start breaking? Sounds like a problem with internals, pretty scary to start a race thinking the suspension is going to fail..
KTM has a big chunk of the responsibility here if this is a long term, repetitive problem.
I was wondering the same thing. These KTM bikes have been very successful for years. Dungey, Anderson, Sexton, RJ, and Webb won titles without any complaints about the shock that I can recall (I recall Webb wanting KYB forks but I don’t remember the shock being an issue). Vialle just won a supercross title on the bike so the shock had to have been rideable to do that. It’s not like we’re talking about new technology. This just doesn’t make sense. What did they do that shocks are now unreliable to the point of being dangerous? They seriously can’t find a reliable shock to put on the bike? This doesn’t make any sense to me (which I’ll grant, doesn’t mean much).
Paging ML: Has a factory team ever created some sort of heat shield to go between the shock and the engine/exhaust?
Or if the heat problem is coming from the shock itself, have they ever tried adding heat sink fins to the shock reservoir? See below
Pit Row
Exactly. FFS. In their backyard no less. Sheesh.
My point is not to do with the decisions of the French military and political leaders. It's just pointing out that surrender does not indicate cowardice from the average French soldier. At any rate if you knew anything about history and especially military history you'd know that military defeat oftentimes has little to do with cowardice. Also, your stupid comments seem to include the French as a whole. What about the French soldiers in WW1 who fought on the Western Front for four and a half years? The US, as you may remember, only showed up for the last year of the war....
Knowing what we know, it actually helps quite a lot.
I don’t know all the details . But if the rear shock had been breaking down I’d be worried about it to. Especially since he is leaving ktm
The French were the elite solders in ww1. We had no exp on the world stage.we only had exp fighting Indians for 300 yrs. The French taught us how to fight & where very concerned we would never be ready. D Day 25k French civilians were killed day 1. 2,501 American solders . A 12 yr old German boy killed the most 1,202 some say 2k I think that’s high. Ovr 1,200 war ships , 6-8k air craft shelled the beach . Impossible for a German to get a shot off. We had paratroopers also. Germany used boys as young as 8 to fight. My mom was in ww2 in Holland near the German boarder . Women & children blew up train bridges . Much more brutal how they killed the children & women than the solders in war .
Hmmm...Dungey had a rear air shock lose pressure on the start line of an SX before the gate even dropped. Can't remember the year, or event, but it happened.
I believe you mean Andrew Short because that happend to him when he was on the air shock.
The French throughout history lost but also won a lot of wars. They eventually won with the allies in WW1 and WW2. Yeah, the Nazi Blitzkrieg invasion was a disaster on many levels as well as getting beat by the Viet Minh in Vietnam.
Funny the Americans bag out the French. You realise you were losing the civil war until France put every bit of money they had to stop the British from taking over America. Maybe show some respect to them.
However, Herr Lich. The French have literally waved the white flag every time and as soon as possible.
You are just a delusional Christian. They said "mentor" not the job is the same and they also give their lives daily.
Says the Aussies that lost to Emus!!!!!!
I know, I know, go back to my sheep
