I'm sure this guy will get in trouble for commenting that, but I have an increased level of respect for Kawasaki because he posted the truth online .

I honestly don't think he will. They all must feel it. There's gotta be some limit to the keeping it classy and professional and I think prado found it.

Prado has a chance of doing really good at the SMX races!
-Starts are more important, less passing options and shorter races
-Tracks are smoother
-Tamed down SX obstacles (great for a George with limited SX experience)
-Dirt/prep has been dry, reminiscent of the GP's

True, but I just don't think you're going to see a lot of effort out of Jorge.

Why would we? We haven't seen any effort from him yet.

Nobody gets it beside a brainwashed 22% (aprox) of the population of cataluña, and aparently you. But please let leave this out of this forum, this is a politic subject that has nothing to do with Prado and his issues.

This whole scenario played out perfectly by the marketing geniuses at KTM.

They knew they wouldn't have the funds to sign George for '25 due to their bankruptcy. So they pumped up their decoy offer to get George a good deal at Kawi for '25 for him to coast around and check out the tracks. They promised him a big contract in '26 with a bonus if he talked shit about the green bike and later won a few rounds on the orange bike (or red, or black/white), because that would make their bike look better than any marketing team could.           Especially since KTM hasn't made any updates to their '26 models.

I was wondering when this theory would pop up, that'd be some crazy level corporate game play, and pretty sure illegal on levels. Especially with Kawasaki soon to be going after KTMs two stroke sales whenever they are released.

Another one I'm surprised I haven't heard yet is purposefully taking dives to drop his overall odds to make sports bet and possibly cash in on a big pay day. Though thats just tin foil hat fun and not based in any actual evidence, and implies a lot of illegal and underhanded things which I don't believe at all.

Seems like the Kawasaki "new 2 stroke" announcement was a strategy to discourage KTM buyers at a critical time.

The book Japan's Motorcycle Wars is really interesting and chronicles events that led to the big 4 (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki) being the dominate firms in the motorcycle industry.

After hearing those stories of shady business practices from 50 years ago, it's not a stretch to think the "games" are still being played and KTM/Bajaj has joined the fun.

All of this commotion/animosity with Prado and Kawi makes me wonder if the Kawi tent became a bit of a hostile environment and potentially had a little something to do with the relationship with Anderson going south - combine Prado’s demands with the in-coming chase Sexton I could see Kawi not prioritising Anderson as much. Knowing what we know now, I’d have JA21 under my tent any day over Prado.

I'd say Anderson's gut didn't help with the relationship...

LMAO on taking dives for sports betting. There's no way for anyone to get any sort of real money down for a dive to pay off and it would immediately be flagged.

It's easier to find effort when you're at the front with 10 minutes to go vs. at the front with 25 minutes to go on a rough track.

Yes, you've never gone racing instead of paying your bills?  Doesn't sound very Core.
