Pit Beirer - I remember him smoking the field in the des nations a few times on a CR250....I think maybe '96 it was....wearing a short sleeve t-shirt. I think he crashed out of the other moto.

K-dub has never won a national championship, I would easily say he is the best rider to never win a national championship. I would bet he by far has the most wins of any non-national champion.

Yes but he did run away with one of the east-west shootouts so technically he should be given the overall championship ;P...and to answer the question, with a question, how many championships would Windham have won if not for the GOAT?

Thats 5 championships plus an SX he lost to REED I believe....so six titles, perhaps that answers the question.
