Been saying this for weeks. Big money contract too. 5 year deal…is what I was told.
And can we stop with all this crap about he's got this dog in him blah blah blah? He made a rational business decision. Defend it all you want, sure it makes sense, but it is not the decision that someone with that dog in them makes. We'll race him when it's time coming full circle.....
Yes it is possible.

He's 19, will be racing 450 outdoors at 20, 450sx at 21. I don't see the issue.

Agree with this, ffs he’s still maturing yet, some would have him in 450’s by now BUT what about in 4-5 years time if he gets bored/ burnt out then he would get called out for that.
For the record I am far from a fan of his.
No issue, let's just be real about it. Someone with burning desire to prove themselves and race the best chooses to go race the best when that opportunity is there for the taking. Deegan inc made a business decision instead. They're telling you what their priorities are with their actions, just like MXON, and I'm not going to believe the bullshit they're selling when their actions consistently say the opposite. If you guys want to believe it and buy the DNGR shirts that's fine too.
Yes. Deegan will have a perfect rookie season. Definitely. Stamp it. Done deal. No one will argue that. Piece of cake. Ask Ricky, he’ll say, “absolutely.”
I’m not a Deegan fanboy but it’s weird everyone was cool with Jett defending his championship in 250s but not Deegan. They are literally on the exact same path and not one person said Jett should move up in sx.
Did Jett talk shit about 450 class at every opportunity?
Quick answer because I’m at work but Jett wasn’t making claims about speed and his competition like Deegan has, Jett also never claimed “there’s no more competition for me in the 250 class”. A lot more people would be fine with him staying down if he didn’t bark up a huge storm (for the record I think he’s going 450 sx in ‘26)
Maybe Vital has double standards?
I totally agree in that they made a business decision. That decision is to move up when they think he'll have the best chance to be successful in the 450 class. It's not like he's been even close to perfect in the 250SX class.
No DNGR shirts in my closet, but their decision makes sense...he'll race the 450 when they think it's the right time. Their track record is pretty good so far.
I said it, a lot. And got shit on, a lot.
Yet JS and RC are Jett fans.
Agree with truck.
He probably won’t have a perfect season. But then again, he’ll likely be racing a field that is much deeper than what Jett faced in 2023.
Does Haiden?
Jett got a whiff of sextons exhaust if you think Haiden doesn’t at the very least have sextons upside you’re smoking some shit
Pit Row
Why you crying, princess? A 19 year old got you that upset?
I think it's fair to say he'd even beat those two.
Nobody is upset except maybe you fan boys who can't stop slurping the guy who chose the minor league payday instead of the challenge. Truth hurts, I know. He'll race him when it's time, it'll be OK.
Here's the pattern. Deegan invariably gets shit on because of what he says and does - not because of some other supposed reason. Deegan has been disrespecting his fellow competitors and making constant comments and jabs implying he has something for Jett. This is why him staying in the 250s again means he gets shit. After all, why stay in the 250s when you think your competition is rubbish and you think you'll be running with Jett in the 450s?
I actually think if it were up to Haiden he'd move up. However, this has Brian all over it. Although Brian is morally cretinis he is a very smart man. He knows Haiden needs more development in SX and also more development in general before moving to 450s. As BT has pointed out, Haiden is all puffed up with youth and his domination of the ladies in the 250s (not Cole Davies of course) and thinks he'll have something for Jett. Brian, however, knows this is not the case. Good on Haiden for getting the deal, but man, when he sees the pace of the front end of the 450 class he's going to freak out.
It's only Deegan's deepthroating fans that have a problem with admitting how great Jett Lawrence is. Almost every single top pro and former pro who comments on the sport has said on numerous occasions that Jett is the the best to have ever done it, or will be once all is said and done. It would be good to actually compile these comments at some point. At any rate here's the riders I've heard these comments from: DV, RC, JS, BT, JT, The Bullet, Cairoli, Bailey, The Professor, RV, AC, JB. That's quite the list. The only ones that don't say it are those with ego problems - most notably Reed and Roczen.
Haiden would prol be a consistent top 5-7 guy in 450 sx. He is only getting faster. Make the leap and dont let your pride get in the way. You can do it man.
let the accolades in the tiddler class go to someone else. You are the rider that is ready.
For those who down vote, you dont believe in his talent, afraid he wont win?
He would win heat races and battle for the top step at times if he jumped up.
No shame if he didnt win the title.
Ummmm.... well, racing dirt bikes is his business so...yeah, they probably made a business decision.
I probably wouldn't want to be business partners with you if you make it a habit of making business decisions based on emotion and "proving something"....that's a quick way to go bankrupt.
You missed your favorite, Webb.
Dunge, Villo, Jett, Tomac are all more skilled and faster than RC was.
Evolution. Each era had learned from the past.
RC did thos to Mcgrath’s era.
Ah, yes, put him in there too.
Jett going 22-0 against Deegan.
That would be remarkable. I do think Haiden will win a couple motos, maybe even an overall. But no doubt Jett is the clear favorite.
But there’s one thing about Haiden, he will hang it out and leave it all on the track. He’s a RACER and will eventually be able to run with Jett on a normal basis. It may take a year or even two, but he’s going to be a title contender within time.
I can see Haiden running 3-6th with an occasional moto win or a few 2nd place moto finishes. Top 5 in points, if he can stay off the ground. The 450 will require a lot more strength to go 30+2. His speed will be there, but he might need some time to adapt to toning it down a notch. My 2 cents
