Investing in meaningful programs, rallying and uniting both congress and the American people around a powerful initiative. A stark contrast to what we see today, I reckon.

Back then the media used to somewhat coddle/protect/ shield the president and both parties worked together much better than we see today…. There was a respect for the office itself that we just don’t see these days. I believe all of that went out the window for the most part after Regans second term or maybe  Herbert Walker Bush’s one term. Seems like every since then things have been really ugly and all that respect for the office itself has gone out the window. We are definitely living in critical times where the disrespect has spilled out into the streets and people are being beaten and killed over their political beliefs. It’s actually shocking what America has become in this regard.

DOGE was ineffective, it didn't and couldn't address the government's expenditure issues, they need to be resolved by your elected officials, but both sides are too busy feathering their nests, self interest rules.

Either way it sucks, because after 60 pages of back and forth bullshit, name calling and finger pointing, we were having a thoughtful and productive discussion that was approaching the root causes of these issues we all complain about. 
If we can’t have a civilized conversation about morals and values in regards to our society, then we have no hope whatsoever. Whoever deleted those posts or complained about them is a fucking loser and I hope you’re reading this. 

If it was someone complaining to a moderator then you are a massive pussy and probably mentally deficient. If a moderator actually did go through those posts and deleted them, I think at the very least we should have been given an explanation and an opportunity to defend because they clearly misunderstood the context. 

Shameful behavior and exactly the type that has western civilization in the disgraceful position it is in now.
