From AMA D36 website.
Some of you may or may not know Jim from Dirt Diggers North MC and Hangtown MX, Oldtimer MX or Over the Hill Gang MX. He had a recent crash which sent him to the hospital with some serous injuries here's one post from Sandy (girlfreind I believe) on the OTHG site:
"OMG guys...... thanks so much for your support. The orthopedic surgeon called a little while ago and said that his left knee was pretty messed up and needed surgery but due to his current condition, his knee is that last thing their concerned with. He said the pulmonary contusions were their biggest concern and that the next 48 hrs will be critical for him. I've been pretty ok with everything, knowing my baby a pretty strong man but when the doc said the words "He's on life support and it will be touch and go for the next 48 hrs" I pretty much lost it. I know this sport is sooooo very important to him and it has been a BIG part of my life except for the past year, but sometimes...... I know, I know...... he's going to pull through this and I'm sure he's going to want to get back on the bike as soon as possible and I'm ok with that but right now... PLEASE say a little pray for my baby! He's my life! thanks Sandy"
Over the Hill Gang and Oldtimers MX will be having ride day at three locations Riverfront in Marysville CA, Club Moto in Livermore CA, MMX in Marysville CA October 23rd with all proceeds going to Moe family to help cover cost. If you can make it I'm sure the Moe family and OTHG family would really appreciate it!
From Racerhead at racerxonline.
Jim Moe - longtime DDNMC volunteer for the HangTown Classic and a dear friend to motocross - was seriously injured in a race on September 25. He is under sedation at a hospital in Marysville, California, with collapsed lungs, a head injury, knee injury, and numerous bumps and bruises. Jim will fully recover in time, but in the interim there will be a fundraiser at RiverFront MX Park in Maysville on October 23.
