From AMA D36 website.

Some of you may or may not know Jim from Dirt Diggers North MC and Hangtown MX, Oldtimer MX or Over the Hill Gang MX. He had a recent crash which sent him to the hospital with some serous injuries here's one post from Sandy (girlfreind I believe) on the OTHG site:

"OMG guys...... thanks so much for your support. The orthopedic surgeon called a little while ago and said that his left knee was pretty messed up and needed surgery but due to his current condition, his knee is that last thing their concerned with. He said the pulmonary contusions were their biggest concern and that the next 48 hrs will be critical for him. I've been pretty ok with everything, knowing my baby a pretty strong man but when the doc said the words "He's on life support and it will be touch and go for the next 48 hrs" I pretty much lost it. I know this sport is sooooo very important to him and it has been a BIG part of my life except for the past year, but sometimes...... I know, I know...... he's going to pull through this and I'm sure he's going to want to get back on the bike as soon as possible and I'm ok with that but right now... PLEASE say a little pray for my baby! He's my life! thanks Sandy"

Over the Hill Gang and Oldtimers MX will be having ride day at three locations Riverfront in Marysville CA, Club Moto in Livermore CA, MMX in Marysville CA October 23rd with all proceeds going to Moe family to help cover cost. If you can make it I'm sure the Moe family and OTHG family would really appreciate it!

From Racerhead at racerxonline.

Jim Moe - longtime DDNMC volunteer for the HangTown Classic and a dear friend to motocross - was seriously injured in a race on September 25. He is under sedation at a hospital in Marysville, California, with collapsed lungs, a head injury, knee injury, and numerous bumps and bruises. Jim will fully recover in time, but in the interim there will be a fundraiser at RiverFront MX Park in Maysville on October 23.

There's been a thread on NorCal since it happened. Jims son has been updating it. There's another one on the Sierra OTHG forum that his girlfriend has been updating but I think you have to sign up to read it.

Here is an update email I recieved from a fellow Dirt Digger.

hey all Jim is doing good, they had taken the brain swelling detector out out of his skull because the swelling has gone way down and hes doing good but his breathing is kind of heavy so they are keeping him sedated. they are reducing the meds so, and he might come off the ventilator soon!, i will have the card i made him with me so those of you who haven't signed it yet have a chance to at tomorrows meting. and Sandy and I have gotten a lot of stuff together thanks to separate clubs, their will be ride a few ride days for Jim, not sure on the dates but will try to find out soon, i would like to see the diggers contribute a little something, Sandy is trying to get him a cheep lap top so he can hope on the web when he awakes not too much but like a 400 dollar one someone has already donated 100 to this cause, i would just like to see him get a new helmet since he likes the Thor ones we are able to get in the catalog. but what ever we can do would be appreciated!

Jim is off the ventilator but cannot talk because of 2 weeks with a tube in his throat it takes time to heal. Talked to his boy John last night and it was the happiest I have heard in Johns voice in 2 weeks. Jim is awake and following instructions and is smiling and was told what happened and of course he does not remember it all yet. He was awake when he was taken to the hospital and put under there. He is not able to eat or drink yet but John says his Dad could lose a few and be ok. I talk with John almost every night and to hear how happy he was last night has made the pain of not knowing go away some for me. He is a great friend and all around nice guy. If you can help him out he will need it and he will never let you forget how much it means to him because he is that kind of a guy. Another update tonight or tomorrow.
