Four bikes, two disciplines, one epic showdown!
Enduro legends Jonny Walker and Billy Bolt bring their motorbikes back to the world's gnarliest downhill track - Red Bull Hardline Wales. But they're not going it alone. They're joined by MTB's favorite twins, Matt & Jono Jones in the ultimate relay battle.
THE TEAMS:
🏍️🚵♂️ Team 1: Jonny Walker (Enduro) & Jono Jones (MTB.)
🏍️🚵♂️ Team 2: Billy Bolt (Enduro) & Matt Jones (MTB.)
THE CHALLENGE:
Each team must strategize when and where to hand over the baton along the course. Will they play to their strengths, or will the handover location make or break their run? The team with the fastest time to the bottom, WINS.
Damn that was cool! The way Billy and Jonny can whip their bikes back and forth so quickly was impressive!
I've always wondered what this kind of thing would be like with some actual mx talent, not enduro talent. Get rv2 out there and I bet he could shave quite a few seconds of Billy Bolts time for example
Watched this last night, good to see how they break down track & the hesitation over big jumps

RV wouldn't have hesitated...apparently.
Ask all the MX talent that have done races such as Erzberg how they got on against the Enduro talent..
The biggest take away is how tight MTB courses/trails are for riding MX on. Not much fun really (albeit that was redbull hardline which is bad ass )
Most likely why they chose Enduro racers and not MX.
Yeah yeah we could debate this all day long, but the fact is pro motocross riders are the best offroad 2 wheel athletes on earth. They could adapt to nearly any other discipline, but basically no other discipline could adapt to pro MX.
Maybe they could adapt eventually. Not in a morning though, with a film crew waiting to get going. Tommy Searle goes riding a lot with Billy Bolt and always praises Billy's skills in his videos and can't do the stuff he does.
