The blue chip company is Dodge, and the team is H&H.

Really? It employs almost 60,000 people with a market capitalization almost as much as Ford's. Beady eyed Canadian...

hey prince....here is a moto thread!

I just hope it means Dodge will bring more of their cars to Australia. Those involved in bringing them over here must have been completely retarded.

Australia is a country that loves big v8s and muscle cars, regardless of the fuel price. And yet they bring the Journey and the Nitro here. We don't want them.....bring us the challenger and the charger!!!

Believe me mate, you don't want more Dodge cars in Australia. I can maybe see the attraction of the Challenger and Charger, but once you compare it to a Commodore in terms of build, ride quality etc well they leave a lot to be desired.

A fucking Canadian with socialist medical com lecturing on capitalism?

Less natural resources (agriculture, mining, and forestry) and foreign subsidiaries, most of Canada's exports are to the American car companies... Don't shit where you eat.

Not Canadian, just occupying some of their real estate for a few years.

I'm not sure what H&H is thinking. It has to be financial... If I was going to run an SX team only, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and KTM would seem to be better in that order. Maybe there's a Mitch/Monster connection.

I really have no knowledge either way but it seems to me to be an easy set-up - a few well placed comments that imply more than is real.

Maybe that's the unique part - apart from Josh Hansen's X games bike, how many PC 450's are there going around?

Also, maybe what he's riding at Newcastle will be just a one-off gig. It sounds very much like he's racing for the unique opportunity to race in his home town, and after that will be back into serious training and preparation for A1.

Fuck his home town race, way to stick it up all his aussie fans ass. Why race just one race, race them all if none at all.

Hope Alessi punts him in the first corner

Dude, he doesn't have a team, which means no contract, which means no insurance...

He's probably reaching into his own pocket pretty deep to cover everything... just for one race...

I'm happy he is riding!

To pay his own insurance I'd say he is... And if he doesn't have a team sorted yet i'd say there is a good chance he had to pay for whatever he is doing...

None of the teams pay for insurance. Insurance is up to the rider. However, it's in the rider's contract that he will have insurance.

Well I'm guessing that with his virus and recovery that if there wasn't a race in Newcastle he probably would have sat out the whole series to focus on getting ready for the US SX in 2011. In that sense I'd be grateful to see him at all.

I suppose if you really dislike the whole arrangement that much you could go back to the dinky backyard series that the Australian Supercross championship was a few years ago before SuperX, maybe that would be more to your liking.

And for the record, I'm an Aussie, and I've been to the old Supercross series, as well as SuperX and several AMA SX rounds. Believe me, you are lucky to have a series like SuperX in your backyard, given the size of the sport in Australia and the general state of the economy everywhere.

I suggest you take in every opportunity to watch the collective international talent on display, the likes of which has never been assembled before in Australia, rather than bitching about the guy who was instrumental in making it happen.
