Find a way to to say Ben did this deliberately. Ben had his feet up not even charging in to the corner. Short was just taking terrible fucking lines and getting eaten alive momentarily.
Great find on the video. Looks to me like a good pass and unintentional contact. It's for sure just one of those "Shit happens" incidents.

It was my video. I have most of the good stuff from the front runners. Plan on putting it all together in to a 5-10 minute video as soon as I find some free time with school.

I would think if he wanted to 'hide' it, he would have 'hidden' it for a lot longer than two days.

Because I drove 14 hours back to Texas after the race and went to class at 1030 in the morning then went to work til 7 PM and straight home to pass out. Put it on Vimeo at 2AM but it was going to take 2 hours to wait in line to compress. Hence Tuesday morning when I woke up. It's called a life.

LMAO !

you cant get anymore clueless than this .
If Andrew would have not crashed, he would have got a 3rd or 4th at worst 5th and add that to his 2.

Roczen got a 2 an 6th, what is so clueless about that? Andrew would have beat him. Just making a point. Laugh all you want the important thing is the Americans won, that may be a hard pill to swallow but it is now time to take the medicine. For clarity, I am not saying that they raced the same motos, just saying Andrews score would have been better had he not been taken out by BT.
http://www.redbullmxon.com/results.html

Also, I am not a fool, in the moto that Roczen passed Andrew, it is very unlikely Andrew would have been able to pass him back even if he did not crash. I have seen Andrew many times, he would not take the risks. Roczen was on fire that moto, he got a holeshot a blazed a very fast pace. Hats off to him, he was riding very fast.

short was going slow, took a shitty approach into a hooking rut. meanwhile, townley was pushing hard and took a sweeping approach to the inside. short never should have taken the line he did from where he was approaching it and he never should have given up the inside line like he did. who the fuck wouldn't get to the inside of a slower rider?

case closed.

Your opinion. I was there and the vid does not show what really went down. But I do agree, Andrew should have not gave him the inside, but not sure he could have done that. BT had all sorts of momentum from both jumps.

Who wouldn't get to the inside of a slower rider, no one but how many people would take them out. Not everyone, but rubbin is racing and take out moves are part of racing. Still was a take out move from my perspective which was behind them when it happened.

Didn't mean to quote you. Does anyone know whether Trey's pass on Ken during the qualifier was clean or did Trey give him a lil bump? I had a blinded view because of the 4 trees out there being in the wrong spot. I heard they touched.

Yes he did, but BT caught up to short And also passed roczen later on in the moto. I'm not sure what point you Are trying to make here by conparing the short/ BT deal in the 2nd moto. What hasmoto 3 to got to do with it? Im beginning to Think you havent watched the event
Since you are slow, I'll spell it out for you.

You claimed Short was way off the pace because he just gotten passed by a 250F, therefore proving he was way off the pace.

Yet BT had also just gotten passed by the same 250F.

Don't use stupid examples to point out how 'way off the pace' Short was when the other person in question failed on the same point.

I don't hold any hard feelings for BT regarding the incident. He's always been a clean rider and from the video it appears the takeout was unintentional.

BT's a good guy and I bet he apologized to Andrew afterwards.

For those of us who saw the race, BT caught up to Short quickly And was already following that 250f's pace before shortly thereafter passing it for the win. Thus BT wasnt off the 250s pace as i'm sure you understand....?

So were you in the bathroom when Ken blew by BT like he was going backwards?

Give it a rest, your example of Short being passed by a 250F as proof that Short was 'way off the pace' is pretty stupid when the guy you are defending was passed by the SAME 250F.

You do understand that by taking different lines, more importantly the lines of that 250f that just passed them, they too can improve their lap times right? That's what Ben did once he was by Shorty then he out jumped him on all of the stupidly designed 450 only jumps.

Ok, i don't understand how can not understand:
Who won the moto? There is no point in arguing about the fact that both roczen AND townley passed short who was going alot slower. Roczen passed townley early but he nost certainly didnt win the moto! Who did? BT did. How? He passed both short And roczen (repassed) to take the moto win. Do you still disagree?

Thanks for posting the video. Townley seemed to be moving quite a bit faster than Short leading up to the point where they came together. Townley hucked the uphill triple before the right hander and make a ton of time of Short. In the next turn Short took the outside line and appeared to have bounced back inside off of the rut and that is where they came together. If he hadn't hit the rut, Townley would have had him clean on the inside. I know that the original post was made during the race and emotions were running high. At this point however we can all see now that it was just an unavoidable collision and our guy went down. Nothing more... If it was anyone's fault I'd have to say that it was Short's for leaving his line. Besides, it motocross. If we don't want to see any aggressive action out there we should watch golf :-)

I'm not gonna wade thru all this BS but the blurry video posted IS NOT THE INCIDENT!

REPEAT NOT THE INCIDENT!

Anywhere in that video did you see Short go down and barely get up? It happened in the corner leading into the mechanics straight. Not in those corners shown in the video.

And yes it was a TAKEOUT as we could see it all the way from the top of the hill! This wasn't the first nor last time this happens at the MotoD, a lot is at stake and riders pull out the stops.

He was slow getting up and for a minute or so I thought he was hurt and that would be it. As it turned out he was battered and bruised and had a broken clutch lever, but knew he had to get back up for the team.

What a ride!

Shorty talks about getting both wheels knocked out from underneath him.

DOES NOT SHOW SHORT GETTING CLEANED OUT!

It's a poor angle
