I wanted Pape to win! I was at dinner with him last night before he flew and I told him it was cement start, he had no clue and never started in cement ever before so he was wondering what to do! lol 4th is still a good payout.

That’s cool they showed up . For the fans , racers, & track. ARod & a couple Packers showed up at a Fri night hs football game about 15 yrs ago. Talked with the players etc it got all ovr town.
No, it’s the original lamp. I rarely ride it at night now and had forgotten how bad it is!
I parked my bike next to Romain in the pits. His mechanic was thrilled to see the Daytona and we chatted a bit since I have a little rusty French.
Last year my son and I gave Kullas some tips on the pad here (we’ve done 100s of drops at PiR) since he’d never done concrete before either. Seemed to have helped a lot as he’s had a few holeshots now.

I don't ride mine at night either but the led is much brighter. Since you have to ride with your light on all the time anyway. It makes you more visible to cars. Plus the added benefit it uses less energy. So there's less draw on the electric system/stator battery.
Highly recommend swapping your bulbs out to led's. Especially the headlight and tail light.
