There are a lot of changes that could be made to make LL better, but nothing will change.

Tim Cotter is 150 years old and obsessed with keeping everything the same as it was in 1987 when "the world was a better place" and men were men. Amateur motocross is absolutely plagued by this mentality, especially all the mx sports events. 

Tell me why you are required to sign up online prior to these events but still spend 3 hours standing in line with 200 other people to "confirm" your sign up at the tracks. You could go on the list is long. The powers that be are old and rigid, they are deffinitely not going to change a track thats been largely the same for the last 40 years.

It could/should be LOTS faster.  No reason to stand in line and sign in again, it should be done once - online.  Let me state my name, they check a list, scratch my name off the list, give me a bag of goodies, and I'm on my way.  Should be a 30s process per person, not a 10 minute process.

The days of 3 hour lines to sign up are long gone.  They now do multiple sessions depending on class, online waivers and pre reg makes sure your AMA membership is current.  It moves pretty quickly.  You are there to get practice stickers, mechanics pass which has to be signed for, make sure frame #s haven't changed, confirm transponder number and get your bag of goodie and bib.  I was in that 3 hour line for 10+ years.  It is much better now.

MXsports needs to do something about the first moto chip draw for gate position. The biggest race of the year and your first moto is determined by a random chip draw thats so ridiculous. Theres no reason why they cant do 10-15 minute times practice for every class. Freestone and Oak hill both do that but the biggest race of the year is random.
