“250 Moto 2 was scripted”

Yeah.  The whole field was told to ride slowly behind JMart. And Jo was told to give up championship points to Deagon and said ‘no problems’.

High speed railing all the turns.

Landing, with authority, in the sweet spot of the jumps.

Sailing with ease through the sand whoops.

We all saw it.

It was scripted in Jmarts head that he was going to go out with a bang.  One shot, one opportunity, he seized the moment!   He rode great.  

His lap times say it all. He was faster than everyone the 2nd moto and maybe caught one lucky break from Jo's rear brake going out. 

On that note, Lars Lindstrom was interviewed after the races and all the questions were fluff about the "gelling" of the team. How everyone is besties and shit like that. Never did she even ask about Jo's rear brake?? how could you talk to Lars for 4 minutes after the races and Not ask that question?? wtf?

Cant script those 2 holeshots. He was out front and had the lap times to match. Jmarts a beast. 

Deegan is banged up, he had the overall and his closest competitor was behind him with a team mate in front who was greasing everything the last few laps. It isn’t like Jmart never had elite speed before either. 

I will wait to form my opinion until I hear what Cooksey and Hopper say. 🤣

‘Scripted’ as far as- if Deegan wanted it, he would’ve taken it. 

Beyond that, a race with 40 riders in it can’t be scripted.

Yesterday JMart was a hero and rode the race of his life. Even Deegan gave up the chase. jMarts ride was like watching a dream, he rode  flawlessly. Reminded me of watching Marty Moates when he won the USGP 

You would think he is 2nd guessing his retirement, how could you not think, "wow, Im still pretty damn good"!  Or just settle to be 2026 LL 25plus favorite, lol!!!

That triple crown where Chase had the W, but tried for the win in moto 3 was a bone headed move....Deegan w the overall trying to push to catch Jmart(whobhad the same lap times) for no reason woulda been a bone headed move had something happened. Not a conspiracy lol. Wth.

I can't help but think this is the stupidity of today, and the constant need for drama.  Simply put, the stars aligned for Jeremy, and guess what? Jeremy worked his ASS off during those few weeks to better himself on the bike and was able to take advantage of the opportunity thanks to his hard work and preparation. 

I just can’t wait to hear Phil Nicolette rave about it on pulp lol

Absolutely not, Jmart was ripping 

Scripted?  Not a chance.  But I also think Deegan didn't push it for two reasons:

1. sore and out of steam.

2. Had the overall in the bag.



 

Exactly this. 

Deegan’s championship competition was behind him. 
He had the overall locked down. 
JMart is no threat for the championship. 

‘Scripted’ - No. 

but Deegan gave him a gift, for sure. 

I’m not a Deegan fan, and I’m not sure if he backed off a bit or not. 

BUT… I will say if he did, I was very impressed that he didn’t say anything about it on the podium. He scored a few “good guy “ points.  

            It all fell into place perfectly for JMart, and when Deegan got into second place, and realized he had the overall , he went from 2.5 seconds back to 9 back. That, IMO was because he saw no reason to ruin JMarts final Moto. NOT saying Deegan could have caught Jeremy, just that he backed down his efforts to do so.

What a great tool. Acknowledging my bias, I was waiting to see times before arguing the “deegan let up for him” claim. This seals it for me. Deegan didn’t let up and literally said he didn’t have it in the tank to take the lead. Jeremy’s just a fucking sicko. Congrats on a great career JM6

Was there spectating. They were all balls out. 

That has to be the dumbest shit I have ever heard.

So, we have the American phenom, the biggest talent in recent years, smashing every other rider in his division, with outstanding fitness, unrivalled mental strength, the best team on the circuit focussed on his development, mid season, just got straight up beat by a 32 year old guy who retired over a year ago due to injuries, who has only raced three times this year and only a few weeks ago couldn’t break the top twenty…. 

I ain’t buying it. Deegan gifted him that win. 

Yeah yeah, I like a fairy tale just like the next man, but like all fairy tales, this one ain’t real.

It would have been a fairy tell ending with just those two massive holeshots he ripped and being on the podium.  The dude rose to the occasion from the couch and sealed the deal.  EPIC. I think he was going to catch joe or crash trying even if his rear brake didnt fuck up.  The man was in the zone
