By do you have a Bialetti(sp?). Those make an incredible coffee. Been using it as my daily for years. Peteās is good usually go for the major dickinsonās. Other favorites are Starbucks Italian roast and Verona. Whatever it is though itās got to be whole bean.
Call me crazy but I'll gladly pay 30 cents more per gallon if it means we're not black bagging people with a political police force. I'm with OP, shit's expensive right now and then they're gonna pass a bill for $175 BILLION for immigration enforcement and dissolving what little safety nets America has for the working class/poor? C'mon... What are we doing here?
Do you get sent daily talking points from your subscription to i-hate-donald-trump[dot]com, or do you come up with this silly shit on your own?
His posts literally show usā¦inform us ofā¦the mentality it took for that Stalinist to get chosen by the Demās in NYC.
The minions educated by NYTMSNBCCNNABCCBSNBC.
Orwell wasnāt writing fiction. He was writing about the future. The future is here. The minionsā¦the lemmingsā¦theyāre amongst us. Even Queensryche saw this: Revolution Calling.

I think we all have our opinions about how politics/politicians are impacting our lives. Trump is in office because his base had had enough and voted him in. My side lost because they chose an unelectable candidate after trying to conceal the fact that Joe was south of cheese.
I am tired of banging my head against the wall. Yes, the politicians are causing or not alleviating my financial woes but they're either deaf or dgaf. I, me, myself...have to adapt and overcome. The Calvary ain't comin'. Hence, the chickens and rabbits.
Gas here seems to be pretty volatile, but overall a lot less expensive than what I was used to. The gas signs on the freeway seem to fluctuate by 15 to 20 cents almost daily.
Costcoās pricing is fairly steady and usually one of the lowest in the area I generally travel in, so thatās where I usually fill up. Their Premium price isnāt much higher than most placeās Regular price. When our Tom Thumb/Albertsons discount gets up to $1 per gallon, then I grab a tank of gas there.
Iāve stopped really looking around for the lowest price anymore, I mostly just want to use a busy place that has the freshest gas.
Around here freeway gas is always the premium price.
Getting off into the edge of town is where you routinely find it .10-.20 less.
Heās a paid protestor. šš„“
Which safety nets are being dissolved?
BRUH, Orwell was writing about YOU. Might want to actually read that book. 1984 is a warning, not a play book.
You dont wanna know how much input costs are right now for cattle producers. š
Some of ya'll got cheap gas. Those of us out on the best coast sure gotta pay the price admission for living here.
YOU CAN MAKE THIS SHIT UP!
Orwell was a democratic socialist... Bro, 1984 was anti-authoritarianism and about the dangers of unchecked government power and the suppression of individual freedoms.
Zohran (a democratic socialist) is a perfect example of people in mass voting for someone who is at least saying he will try to make their lives better. Though it is funny I guess because he wants to implement government run grocery stores in NYC and is getting backlash for that. Dude, what do you think the COMMISSARY is?
Congrats though, you've derailed another thread because I dare make a comment in it.
Isnāt there a āHome-town Loyaltyā component here for you, too?
If Iām a Price Club guy and youāre a Costco guy (Costco absorbed Price Club, right?) and, now, that makes both of us Kirkland peepsā¦by brand(and by old school locale for you, I think?)ā¦wellā¦there no argument with me about the Hometown componentā¦even-though Iām sure I can find something to bitch about within their corporate politics šā¦well, Iād just be spinning my wheels; because, itās one helluva well run company and I actually appreciate the founders attitude towards āwe run our company our wayāā¦
Oh..& a really good hot dog & a Pepsi is still just $1.50ā¦Dude! Thatās a very āPunk Rock CEOā way of saying,āFuck you! This is our company and this is how we do what we do!ā
Costco kicks ass.

Nahā¦Orwell wrote of the dangers of the gullible minionsā¦and their ability to be mis-guided and their lack of intellectual presence and total lack of awareness of their own self-delivered āentrapmentā.
And, bro, I responded to a comment about your post. A comment that has made the same observation that many of us have madeā¦time & time, again; so, thanks for proving my point, again.
The Stalin Comparo is honest and fair. The reference to your viewpoint coming from the generic leftist mega media conglomo-source is honest. You come in here and parrot their talking points.
No worries. Iām not the only one who sees it.
I suppose that there could be, but I never consciously think about Costco being 'local' even though I've shopped right next to their corporate office (in Issaquah) many times as well.
I tried Sam's Club when they had some stores in WA, but they were definitely a step below in quality and their lower prices didn't seem to be worth it. But just about everywhere I've been for longer periods of time, Costco seems to be very consistently towards the lower end of the price range and they also seem to always be busy, so the gas has to be turned more often than a lot of smaller places.
I haven't had a hot dog or a slice of pizza from there since early February but if my heart test today says what I think it is going to say, I just may have to stop for one or the other (or one of each!) on the way home.

Even Milo, my Siberian, is a Costco Hot Dogā¦uhā¦dog. If I get one and donāt get him oneā¦he has that Husky look ofā¦āDude, REALLY?!āš¤£
Some of you know Iām on the roadā¦a helluva lotā¦and I know where every damn Costco is on all of my various commutes thru-out the southwest.
Read it again with no distractions, you'll learn something new.
As a lifelong Republican but not a Trump guy, I find this sentence can apply to many segments, including Trumpās most ardent supporters: āand their ability to be mis-guided and their lack of intellectual presence and total lack of awareness of their own self-delivered āentrapmentā. ā
And yes, Costco hot dogs ruleā¦
You guys sway yourselves into a politically bent perspective. Fine. I see who did what to themselves. Period.
To me, you guys are the Palestinian flag waving college kids I see in NYC.
Cheapest gas in my town is $3.93 but most stations are over 4. We had a 6 cents/gal increase in the gas tax yesterday.
At least eggs are $2.72.
Weird thing, a couple weeks ago I wanted to buy some red delicious apples and the market didn't have any! They had about 6 or 7 other varieties so i settled on some cosmic crisp for $1.28/lb.
I don't doubt it one bit brother. I ain't got an answer but I doubt those we pay to "find" the answers are spending much time looking. They are far too busy being "political". It kinda looks like they think burning down the house is how you get rid of mice.
Pretty good price for Cosmic Crisp! I love them and thatās almost the only apple that I ever ask my wife to buy.
Thereās a new varietal coming soon from the same WSU Apple Breeding project that the Cosmic Crisp came out of. I donāt think it has a ānameā yet, just the identification number of WA64 (CC is officially WA38). Itās a cross between a Honeycrisp and a Cripps Pink/Pink Lady. I canāt wait for that to be commercially available!
Honeycrisp and Cosmic Crisp are the only apples that exist in my world. No going back to that red apple bullshit. š¤£
I've settled on Fuji.
Speaking of fruit...have yall tried those dougnut peaches? Mind blowing. I don't know how they did it but its genius.
The hot dogs are great but that $10.00 pizza is fantastic. They got rid of the supreme during the pandemic but I doctor 'em up when I get home.
Add JalapeƱo and Linguica
BOOM!!
Yoke's have cosmic crisp $.99 Lb on loss leader ads. I stock up, they keep well in the refrigerator.
