Was going to get a 2025 RAM 1500 but no HEMI V8s in 2025 but now that Trump is king again RAM is making a HEMI V8 available again in 2026. My 2024 Ram only has 17k miles on it so I will keep it until 2027 . I love my 2024
Did they ever fix all the lifter issues? Do they have that MDS crap still ?
Does that thing have a Hemi in it?
Beautiful truck👍
Murica
Dont know because I get a new one at about 70k miles every 3 or so years but from what I hear lifter issues were years ago. Its all ball bearing now.

Mine in a 2024 so it is a HEMI V8 last year for the V8 but now after being gone for the 2025 model year they will be back in 2026.
I made the mistake of buying a 2024 Ram with the V6 etorque. I absolutely hate it and wish I had gone with the V8. My last truck was a 2021 Silverado with the V6 diesel and I can’t wait to buy another one. That baby diesel is awesome.
Biden…
He fucked up the whole “Performance” thing.
Go take a look at what they did to the TRX. 🤣
I know its sad, I like the Ford Raptors and then they neutered them too😡
I only tow a Hi Point trailer and it pulls it like its not even there.
My brother said Ford is bring back the V8 also so he may get a mustang again, I am a mopar challenger guy but he is stuck on the Mustangs.
I am surprised Shedeur Sanders was able to get his new TRX up to 101mph. 😅
Ram is coming back to the NASCAR truck series as well. Hopefully we see Dodge follow in Xfinity and Cup soon.
When I was at Eldora with my dad a few weeks ago, he had a few too many and passed the keys off to me and I drove his Hemi 1500 home. It was either the last year or the second to last year they halted production. I’m a Ford guy through and through, but really not a huge fan of how my 2024 F150 for work drives. That Ram was probably the most comfortable truck I’ve driven in a long time. Just felt like a legit truck, he had a Coyote F150 before that and it was not nearly as stable or easy to drive in my opinion.
My first hemi was one of these bad boys!!!!
103 HP of hemi fury……!
I once had a shirt that said…
“Who’s the idiot that go rid of Plymouth?”
Remember when the latest version of the Challenger came out…and all you could do is shake your head and say…
“That’s supposed to be a ‘Cuda!”
Plymouth…’Cuda…Hemi…

Other than having to get my exhaust manifolds replaced at 60k for cracking, my 2019 Laramie with the 5.7 has been flawless. It now has 73k on the clock and I'm not sure I'll ever get rid of it since it's paid off, unless the expensive things really start shitting the bed.
That engine REALLY likes a good tune, long tube headers and good dual converters (if you’re gonna stay legal)…it’s a WONDERFUL SOUND EXPERIENCE with a good system.
I’m starting to think I really need to “VooDoo” a new Bronco (5.2L Ford Performance engine originally created for the “Shelby 350 Mustang”) That’s the ONLY thing a new Bronco does not do better than my old Bronco…they do not “sound” better 🤣
Long tubes and exhaust are on the list when the factory warranty is gone at 86k. 😇

I really Like my 2017 RAM 1500 Limited. I couldn't believe they discontinued the Hemi. I was thinking about buying another one when I heard that and said Nope, keeping the Hemi. 85k and still going strong. Other than replacing a water pump, no major issues.
Hemi’s never left the SRT’s right - Challenger, Charger, and Durango?
Correct
I did have a little SRT 4 Neon that would flat git it. 😎
(Traded it for a minivan 😔)
You know it doesn't have a hemispherical head right? It's just a name for a v8 that eats cams and rollers whether you turn off MDS, remove MDS, or drive it with MDS on all day long.
And yes, I have one, too....
I have owned 3 SRT models, a 300, Jeep SRT and a SRT10 Ram. Two of the three are Hemis and have been trouble free. The third is a v10.
Thats heresy to think you can Voodoo a blue oval.
Voodoo is 100% Mopar, baby.
2018 Hemi. I gotta admit...it makes my wiener poke out a little.
Was the V10 trouble free? 😎
Fwiw, I’ve driven a ford van that had a V10 and a Chevy van with a V10. The ford engine was solid but went through two rear ends (go figure).
I had a RAM 2500 V10 and loved it. It only got 8 mpg when I was pulling a snowmobile trailer in the mountains or driving across Kansas with no trailer or cargo but I had the power when ever I needed. 😁
I have only put on a couple thousand miles in 3 years ownership. The regular cab is a tremec six speed. I checked it once on a trip to a car show. Driving 60 I got about 18 mpg. In town I get 11mpg. It is a series 3 viper engine and transmission, so all aluminum block and heads.
