He seems to be taking this loss REALLY hard. I don't like the guy so it's funny to watch him sulk, but I do also respect how fucking fired up he is. He's going to come out swinging next week. I'd like to see more guys get that angry over a 2nd place.

I mean to tell you that every other rider needs to find a way to get as pissed of at second place as Deegan is. "We're out here just having fun" isn't cutting it.

lol, did you miss the 2nd moto? Deegs could’ve still had a perfect overall season by going 2-1 and he couldn’t do it, can’t blame the bike on that one.

I must have missed the big crash he had? I saw some small tip overs and him finishing second to a rider that rode amazing.

I bet that this loss motivates him more than if he kept the streak going. And next week should be good. Hope  Chance is riding as well next weekend as he was yesterday. A real battle between those 2 guys , hopefully more guys get motivated by Chance's win, seeing Haiden get beat  and we get some battles.

He was the only one the could, and now he can’t.  And it’s good for the fans that we’ve got some competition.

I think we all knew Chance had the speed, we saw it at Unadilla last year.  Let’s hope we see it plenty more this year.  Will make for some great racing.

Ever think that maybe Hymas was riding a pace that Deegan just couldn't match? Nah, that can't be it, Deegan is supppsed to be unbeatable.

Hymus - 49 points down.

Deegan haters- ha ha ha, he got beat.

Ever think that maybe Deegan hasn't been beat for the last 4 titles he's competed in, and is leading the current one?

You do realize that you are slapping keys on a keyboard while calling out others for crying? Did that part of irony go past you?

But maybe you'll tell us your real name so we can look up your results in the 250 pro class?

Everybody crashes and gets hurt.

Roczen, Tomac, J Lawrence, Sexton, Villopoto,  Hampshire, Hammaker, what's the new NZ kids name? Blubba Stewart and Reed back in the day.... or back--ER in the day, Hannah, RJ, Bailey, Magoo..... it's part of MX.

Trailer Park Boy had numerous big crashes last year but walked away with little to no damage. Pure luck, and it won't last.

His turn is coming, never fear. The way he rides, he'll be lucky not to be in a wheelchair when it happens. The 450 is going to eat him for lunch.

Maybe then he'll learn what class is. (Doubtful, coming from a carny family like he does).

Yawn. Deegan "haters" recognize that he is the most talented rider in the field. It's the Deegan fan boys that can't take the fact that Hymas was a completely different level yesterday.

I've seen plenty of Deegan fans say Hymus was faster.

Given the inconsistency of the vast majority of 250 riders, I expect Hymas to have a lackluster performance next weekend.

As the kids say, Deegs "crashed out" but im not talking about cartwheeling down a track...as for "gracious in defeat", I must have watched a different press conference and he also avoided most of the post race interviews. He still lacks tactfulness in general imo, win or lose. Hymas impressed me to just dominate the day like that, I didnt think he had it in him...

That was posted just after Moto 1 when everyone rushed here to say it's over.  As for the bike, it could have affected Moto 2 results a bit, but it's likely most of it was just not having what it took to overtake Hymus.

how could the bike have affected moto 2 when a completely new motor went in. his mechanic Duffe said it had no issues whatsoever for moto 2 in the post-race interviews.

He just got beat by someone faster that day.

I dont really care that he balled his eyes out after chance beat him, but it would be funny if chance uses that to shit talk him going forward because haiden would 1000% do the same.

If haiden starts smack talking chance again this season and chance really wanted to jab back he could now throw out about how he already made deegan cry once this season, he has no problem doing it again. Chance wont do that because hes a stand up guy, but it would be hilarious to see.

Since they had two motors go in Moto 1 they would have tamed down the backup motors for Moto 2 in hopes of avoiding another disaster.  You don't send the exact same package out for Moto 2 when you've just had two motors shit the bed on you.

Not saying this is any large portion of the reason for the loss, but everything plays into it, as does the psychology of knowing you just lost the perfect season momentum due to a mechanical, then a 2nd moto questionable motor package, and not wanting to take too many risks after a sketchy moto 1.

On another note. Why has that turd Duffe started doing Deegan's post-race interviews? I don't give two fucks what he has to say. Surely, fulfilling media obligations is part of Deegan's contract? The people/teams in this sport do my head in with this stuff. And still people like Gypsy Fuck go on about growing the sport...

I wouldnt say Deegan is the most talented. He is racing a class not fit enough currently. It still baffles me how they can lack that much fitness i comparison.

When Baggett used to smoke the riders at the end of a race, the other riders werent fading as such. He was dropping new best lap times at the end.

This 250 class is a little disappointing. People like Hymas and Kitchen 100% have the talent. But missing all the pieces.

Vialle crashes so much that he just has no chance.

Sure looks like it at this early stage of the season.

Thoughts?

Well you jinxed it, just like all the commentators when they say "he's riding very well making no mistakes"....then rider wads up and ends his season.
