He is just not gelling from the looks of it. Looks so heavy, not himself physically, but just his mannerisms when on the bike. Can’t imagine he’s having a great time out there
I agree. Of course, thatbtrack looks pretty gnarly.
He’s racing men now. Not weekend warriors
This is a guy who has won MXGP championships...on many tracks that are more than "pretty gnarly". He shouldn't look uncomfortable. Maybe that too slow Kawasaki is feeling way too-slow at that altitude.
Well, he said he's not confident enough to push, so...
What you see is in line with what he says.

Yeah, Herlings and Gajser are just kids in comparison, right? 🤦
Oh! That makes sense.
He beat those ”Men” on a 250 at Redbud at MXdN…
Starting to wonder how long it takes before he’s back in the GP’s again.
At this point Kawasaki should mutually release him, sign Chase and Anderson.
He must feel like hes swimming upstream. How can he even know what the problem is when literally everything changed AND hes coming back off injury. Is it that hes getting back to race pace coming back from injury? Is it the new bike? Is it because hes in a new country on new tracks? Is it cuz hes on a new team? I’m sure in some way its all of the above. At least if he had stayed on gasgas hed know where he should be on the bike side and could try to fix the other stuff.
I definitely have faith he can get better by the end of the year, but like the other guy said he looks heavy and sluggish and not nimble like he did in europe. I wonder if chase is shitting his pants? The kawi looks like crap and AP just was battling for the lead with jett on the ktm.
Don't take the bait
I always take the ragebaits for some reason haha
Do you need a reminder who beat Jett at MXON?
I think it would be best for prado and kawasaki to split up if there is no improvement soon
Prado came here for a new challenge. Thats great, we all enjoy more riders coming over.
And good for him to challenge himself more by coming over.
He gives us people watching the race another person to critique.
Easier to critizize the riders than to be out in the grind and racing with these guys.
I dunno. Vialle is another GP champion who was supposed to come over here and dominate outdoors. Hasn’t happened for him, either.
I never did hear that Vialle was supposed to dominate.
He is doing well however.
An exhibition race? Hardly supports your case
Nearly three weeks ago I suggested that maybe that KXF isn’t that good.. I was laughed at!
Three weeks later we’ve got Jorge telling the press that he wants more power, now today’s result.
Go figure..
Pit Row
I agree with the OP in that he looks heavy. When they were following him around and James was talking he looked dreadfully slow, hesitant throughout the corners. One corner in particular I actually thought the bike was either dying or that he was about to pull up, it really looked like he was stalling out for a second before he was able to start accelerating though the rest of the corner (of course even a bad lap for him is faster than mortal man but that's not the point). No prizes imo for where he's bleeding the majority of time. There's no aggression, no belief... He looks lost in the wilderness. I still think he has the inherent base raw talent to dig himself out of this but he needs to find something and find it soon. How many 70+ second beatdowns can someone take before their confidence is in the bin.
Why wouldn’t that be the expectation for a 2 time world champion?
He just got dropped by a minute, and that was with Deegan not even doing the jumps for the last 5 minutes. Chance wasn’t even pushing.
The guy must feel so frustrated, literally took MR. 22-0 and beat him by 10 seconds in France two years ago to being beat by him by 45 seconds two years later with #18 coming off an injury
Prado did look lethargic and struggling with the ruts it appeared.
As far as Vialle, nobody said he would dominate. But KTM thought he would have potential so here he is.
KTM more than likely regrets their business decision is my guess.
Im too old to contact Roger for a ride. Have you tried reaching out to him yet? 🤣😎
Given the circumstances of that race. Jett coming off the 22-0 and Prado being at full power coming off of his MXGP chip’ I’d say the results of that race are significant.
I’d argue that’s 1/4 of the reason he felt so confident coming to America in the first place.
Maybe Chase and Prado should just switch spots 😂🤷
How much more do the factory bike rules in Europe help get a rider comfortable?
The weekend warriors that spank us at the MXdN every year?
Jett must be AI. He is not human.
-Eli riding the best he ever has
-Hunter the real deal
-AP on a new level
-Jcoop right there
-Kawi in dire needs for a top 5 contender ( Hampshire)
and Sextons thinks he'll be better while coming from KTM lol
So whats the excuse this weekend. Bike not fast enough now him and jason DNF
I think this is getting silly. he has had between top 5-10 starts every moto so the bike isn't slow. Kawi's handle well and have good suspension and he is on a factory team. Starting to sound like Sexton always blaming the bike. Fast guys figure it out but excuses never figure anything out
