Saw on racer x Jason isn’t racing this weekend because of his altitude issues. Didn’t see posted anywhere here, will delete if told otherwise.

He’s made it through Thunder Valley before, I remember reading about him flying in last minute and heading out asap afterwards. What’s changed?

And he grew up in Edgewood New Mexico which is also 6,000 feet above sea level, same as Lakewood.  Bummer

Where does it say that on Racer X? I can't find it and Kawasaki hasn't updated any of us on their media channel, but they did send out the Hammaker news today.

If this is just a man-tantrum, it’s really disappointing. Not a fan of primadonna athletes, no matter how much feeling hurt they’re experiencing. Hope I’m wrong.

I hope this is the case. If it is then whoever wrote that for Racer X needs to be more clear. Nobody rode yesterday and it was just after mentioning Sexton who won’t be back until Red Bud at the earliest.

Who knows, I guess that's what is to be expected in this day of internet journalism, weird how it was just a tidbit and no more information. So I added a question mark to my original post. I know in the past Jason would get to the races at elevation as late as possible, race and then leave. So hopefully that's the case as the more factory racers the better the sport.
