I would say it is. But as with all professional sports when there’s an aging star and an up and coming star the preference will be to keep the younger player/rider.

certain manufacturers I would say & wht I mean by win now is stacking the deck , looking at the landscape of things the only team I see thts in win now mode is kawi cause they going out to get chase after they got prado , thts stacking the deck with 2 world class caliber racing athletes but nowadays the only league thts 100% win now mode across the board is the nfl & mlb cause of how every GM trying to load up the rosters , ehhhh nba was win now with all the big 3s on each team but as we see with this yrs nba finals , nba starting to shift back to just good team building & scheme fits thru the draft , free agency & G league call ups

Honda?

Yamaha? They just won SX and they have what looks to be a superstar on a 450 soon..
I get what your saying. I think every factory team (minus Suzuki) are trying to win now. Theres just only so many Jett, Chase, Eli’s available.

if KTM signs Eli surely they think he can still win..

fair enough, I just feel with… ok coop got the job done in SX this yr , so now they got the title back tht was stolen from them back when Eli tore his Achilles & even tho Jett would’ve still won anyway , coop’s thumb last season they felt it could’ve been closer if it wasent for the thumb , they can relax now & not be super pressed cause now they getting everything setup for deegs , if they was still super pressed & yea moto is different from other sports , they would hold onto Eli as long as they can just cause hes already proven tht he can go win titles if healthy even at his “veteran” status & Honda is really Jett or bust as much as I like hunta we gotta keep it real & objective, its Jett or bust for them , HRC really could’ve stacked the deck on everyone with Jett & chase but we all kno how it is with 2 alphas

Which of the current three guys would convince you to go out and by a YZ450 after watching them ride?

The Post race conference all but confirms it when they asked AP about being his teammate. Still not gonna look right seeing him on the KTM lol. Crazy how things go, he went from battling the RB KTM team since he went 450, first Dungey and Marv, then Webb, and Sexton for a little. Now he’s gonna be on the team.

I don't think it will be a bummer honestly. If Eli is going there on his own terms (as opposed to being booted off Yamaha) it could be a match made in heaven.

You just know Ian and Roger would kill to get Eli with them, I'm sure they'll be very accomodating.

That's what I've been thinking. Chase looks like he's on a 50.

Seems to me that Roger is all business, not sure if that suites Eli at this point in his career.

Remember when Dungey came out of retirement and was running around 4-6?  Roger wasnt happy, or made the comment on tv that it wasnt good enough.

Of course this is why Roger has success.  But it all comes down to the riders personality and what you can deal with.

Bloss looks like he's riding a bike built for some kind of small doll.
