One of the suspects was caught with the fungus hidden in his luggage at the Detroit airport. Apparently it could be considered a terror weapon targeting agriculture. If consumed, it can cause liver damage and, birth defects.
Scary shit right there.
But, China is our friend 🙄
Three questions...
1. Does it get you high?
2. How good is the high?
3. Is the high more like psilocybin or lsd?
When I was in High School in the mid '1980's, one of my teachers swore that the next war we end up in would be fought bologically. I beleived it then and I believe it now.
I hope the mf’er is jailed in Detroit.
I saw that article ,
Thank God they caught it ( this time ).
"Chinese Nationalist "
Does the capture announce that or we call him that ?

Not surprised you need 'shrooms to deal with yourself. Coward!!!
Unfortunately, from what I saw they did not allow him through customs and sent his ass back to China.
Would have thought they would have arrested him on the spot, but I think it was probably because at the time they didn't know what the fuck it was so they just sent him back home just in case. Maybe they were thinking it was another Covid type thing and he was infected too?
Incident happened a while back, they just now announced it so I am thinking the lab testing took that long.
Scary to think that attacking us by destroying (or worse- poisoning) our food supply is their plan to gain global dominance.
U of Michigan researchers, so I hear.
Grant funded by US gubment.
Insert Manny’s tagline here…🤦
I didn’t know any of that, thanks. That is so messed up. As you said, I would have thought they would have arrested him immediately. It’s an act of terrorism! So, we just send him to back to potentially try again one day with additional knowledge of how things work with customs?
I wonder if tariffs have anything to do with this.
Food for thought…
Should’ve sent him back in a body bag, but that’s just me what do I know. If I ran the zoo and someone got caught trying to kill multiple American citizens they’d be done right then and there. Sorry… No. You die now fuck off
Any governments main concern is protecting itself. We just fund it.
Article I read said Michigan University was sponsoring the research. I hope the FBI gets to the bottom of this and people held accountable if it as bad as they say it is.
If it's China's response to Tariffs even more reason for them! Don't think a 250+ billion trade deficit is fair trade practice. How many more Dollar Generals do we need?
This seems a bit bizarre because the fungus already exists in American crops. It still shouldn’t be transported without sanitary protocols, obviously, and they should be prosecuted for that. But it doesn’t sound like this was some kind of novel, never-been-seen-in-America fungus that would run rampant once ‘introduced’.
Again, a little bit bizarre.
Where were they carrying it “on their person”…? 🤣
Add Walmart, Target and, Amazon to that list.
I bought a TLD jersey years ago when they first started their online services thinking, damn that’s a good deal. Ordered it.
Took awhile to get to my door. After trying it on, It was the ITCHIEST POS I’VE EVER WORN IN MY LIFE!!! Go back to the online listing. Shipped from China.
When I heard it effects barley, I started tuning the rifle.
I can put up with some shit, but if you screw with my beef and barley , I will use deadly force.

I bought some new Red Wing boots a few years ago. Not cheap. I bought from a mom and pop store here in town. The owner is a goofball that I’m not fond of, but but I shopped there anyway.
He told me “Thanks for shopping local”
After wearing them several times, I notice the tag said “Made in China”
RED WING boots!!
it’s unbelievable how many of our US company’s products are made in China.
Red wings are absolute garbage these days. I’ve only been buying hiking boots that are made in Italy the last 5 years and they are soooo much better. Chippewa, thorogood, danner all of them junk
Danner makes the USMC standard issue boots and did an update a few years back. You can find the old version on Ebay for $75 bucks. Sure they're military and not as nice as Asolos or whatever you're buying, but for digging holes or kicking the occasional turd, It's hard to beat that price for boots from an American factory.
But you're right. Most of the big American boot companies have fallen off. Thoroughgood sells for $80-100 cheaper than Danner and red wing, and those seem a better value for the price. Then you need to skip the next teir and go straight to the handmade PNW boots like Nick's and Whites, but the cheapest pair any of them sell is like $600. Worth it though.
I wore Danner Quarry’s for years. It seemed like it was around 2010 the quality went to shit. The soles were as hard as plastic, they took forever to break in and, they fell apart after about 9-10 months.

I’ve been eyeing a pair of Whites, 350 Cutters but, it’s hard to pull the trigger on a $750 pair of boots.
Exactly. The danners were great for a while then their quality went way down hill. The thorogoods aren’t bad but they just don’t have any support. I had a pair of chippewa’s in high school that were awesome but not no more.
The last 2 pairs I’ve gotten were zamberlin and the pair I wear now are scarpa. About 400-450$ but they’re worth it. They do look a little funky though. Euro style. I wouldn’t want them if I was up and down ladders or working in a shop but I’m a stonemason so they work great for me. Theres a reason why alpinstars, sidi, oxtar are made in Italy. The Italians know how to make boots. I had no idea what I was missing until I spent the money and got some.
Been eyeing Scarpa as well 😂.
I just wish there was a place to try them on.
There’s always a different fit between brands.
They must have heard us talking. 20% site wide through this week.
Last time I suited up in theater…
The boots and the optical were Oakley. 🤣
