As someone who grew up and worked in the industry till I was in my mid 20s, I totally get why this thread was created. Dark is a public figure doing public facing work in a tiny industry
Now, that being said, as someone who is now 42 and has spent the last 15 years in corporate leading people, this thread needs to get locked. It's an HR nightmare/legal bomb waiting to happen.

Honestly this sounds like Darkside has an opportunity now for reinvention, which always a good thing. We must always remember one of the few things in life we can control is our attitudes and Darksides appears positive enough toturn a situation like this into a plus. As far as Vital goes, as a business owner for 45 years myself, I never let anyone go before first reckoning if someone else would make capital from his or her's (the employee) efforts. Particularly a competitor. Darkside's growth in this sport seems to make him able to generate money for any direct competitor of Vital's. Seems an odd move from the outside. Perhaps he didn't fit Vital's plan, but a savy competitor may scoop him up after Vital did the heavy lifting of the initial investment in his fame.
There’s no one in the media that comes off as passionate as Dark. I think he’s been great and hope he comes out on the other side in an even better position. He’s unbiased and just loves the sport. #dicksoutfordark
