I always wondered. Never heard a pro who is in love with that track yet it seems like THE place to go when it comes to training. why is that? Just curious

Limited options in socal.  There are like 4 options so even if they have no preferences there’s a high probability that they end up there.  None of the dirt in that area seems amazing.

Because it's in so cal and it's round 1. Back when GH was on the schedule they rode there more.

It’s one of the highest speed tracks, shit is very sketchy. Everyone always complains about how wide open the entire track is.

Im guessing because it is a National caliber track and a great place to prep for the first National of the year. Why go spin laps at Glen Helen when you can acclimate yourself to Pala?

I’ve hear plenty of Pros do not like GH, from what I’ve heard it is considered dangerous in many riders eyes. At least while spinning laps at Pala they  aren’t dodging mini riders, 70 year old vets

Ohh you’re dogging 70 year olds and minis at Fox too. They just at least have flaggers and a paramedic on staff.

"Fox" has a vested interest maybe?

Curious, do they disc the track as deep as they did any other time than the national?

Why would you not train at the track you're going to race?
