Unfortunately....next Saturday at 2pm Pacific my wife's extended family is having a very boring family reunion in the next town over.

Why oh why could it have not been on this open weekend? Especially after Eli got me all hyped listening to his Swapmoto interview. 

I worked all day putting a Honda 450 back together yesterday.  Back at it today.  Owner is working out of town, so I'm not that motivated.  Maybe I'll do some Uber later. 

Saturday.. sumwife wanted to do a “garden tour” of 5 houses around town (on the dual sports) did that and went for couple hour ride after. Then Knobby night at speedway with son & family. Today gave the emtb some needed love and worked around the castle. Gathering goodies for PW50 project. Pala early next Sat with son and grandson. For years at the nationals we used to have a “crew”, wives, friends, non moto following family etc.  They’ve all “been there done that” now so it’s narrowed down to me, my son, and his son. 😂 Were planning on being mobile with no plan whatsoever, can’t wait. All in all had a pretty good non race weekend.  

Thursday I drove over the Sierra to the foothills for a dual sport ride. We did a 25 mile loop on beautiful chocolate cake singletrack on Friday and the 145 mile dual sport ride Sat. Cleaned up the truck, bike and gear today, along with a dog walk this morning and cruise 7 mile bike ride with my wife. Good weekend!

Raced my couch - flame away......

It was a hot one out there. Went to orlando mx and heat index was about 101

You got a good life bud what with riding the dualsports , the camper, and hanging out with your son and grandson. 

Wife and I drove up to Quad Cities for middle son’s golf tournament.  
This place is so damned clean.  We like it.  Had some Chicago style pizza.  Got my ass kicked by Deer Run TPC course. Wife and I getting some time.  Awesome.  
By the way, there are some big ass farms in Illinois.  Holy moly.  Impressive in person.  

Once the winter breaks and the tracks open, I'm out riding/racing or at least outside doing something. I prefer MX over SX, but I rarely ever watch it live.
