Whoop Monster is badass! Motoclown was a little creepy to me. IMO she should have a pocket full of balloons and a squirting flower. She was always by herself when I saw her. I am a clown of sorts, but at least its obvious that I am having a good time. ..... maybe I am just bitter that she ignored me...

Don't you usually wrap something like that in a paper bag and light it on fire before leaving it on someone's doorstep?

I usually don't like to get involved in such an educated discussion, but some of you that I actually used to believe might have been respectable people have let me down. To come on here and call a lady you don't know an "it" or a "nutjob" is just just sad. I ran into her in the pits and talked to her for a few minutes and she is a very nice lady. When kids walk by her they see a clown and they smile, is that a bad thing? And she was at the race, how many of you were there? And who doesn't want to take a nap sometime during a very long day? The last time I saw her on Saturday she was sitting at the end of the start for the last moto of the day with her camera in hand. If you want to talk trash on a nice woman such as she, I suggest you save it and pick on somebody your own size that can defend themselves.

Here is my issue with Motoclown and I have been quite clear on it. It is based on several issues.

I do not like the fact that she has forged media credentials for infield access and I also do not like that those forgeries were overlooked by staff. Is all that is required to be "media" in this industry is greasepaint?

On occasion motoclown has received media credentials, and the above question still stands.

If you want to be a clown and wander the spectator area, knock yourself out, but gaining credentials because you're a clown makes a mockery of the sport and those in the MX media, people like yourself.

the very people who want to bring professionalism to our sport do the opposite by allowing a clown to get media credentials and that same media promotes her "act."
What a load of crap, buddy.

Wow jaeckle.. Did that just happen..??? Did a clown do something to you when you were a child that you'd like to talk about?

I just read the above posts about your comment after i posted. It's looks like (probably justifiably so) you won't be here to answer my question. I'll just have to assume the worst about why you harvest a deep seeded fear of clowns and want to kill one. I will make sure I never invite you to my kids b-day party if we hire a clown.

Dave, how do you feel about a guy dressed up as a wart hog...or even just one with an "outfit" and cape running around the pits/infield? Is that acceptable?

Nice try.

When did Warthog forge or receive a media infield pass?

If you can name the time this happened, did the Warthog act as media while in character?

Warthog is not always in "character" and is also known by his real name.

When was the last time Kandel was in his warthog costume at a race?

and please compare Warthog's contribution to racing and riders and Motoclown's.

and before you ask, no, we do not and have not for several years

So, you don't have a problem with the way she looks, just the fact that she forged the media pass?

I think the general consensus is adults are wierded out by clowns. Kids like them, their entertaining, colorful, and fun. As a grown man when I see a clown I think of William Gacey. If she were dressed as a Hooters Girl no one would care

Dave, Dave , Dave.....

Do these look like forged passes?

As for WWR they usually had some other clown (VitalMX's own DJKC shown) in the costume here in the states......but I do recall them being in "the costume" at several MXoN's.

Why is it OK at GP's or the MXoN but not here? Whats the difference?

OK.....I'm kind of siding with Dave on this.

What does a Clown have to do with motocross?? Please tell me one thing....that's all I need to hear.

The WW ( Steve Kadel?)....was behind a huge privateer movement that helped tons and tons of riders get to the races. Steve and some other forked over a crap load of their own money to help these riders......and there fore "given" the correct passes into the pits.

And even though Mrs Motoclown might be a great person and all....what is the meaning of dressing up like clown at the races? And "why" is she given media passes because of the way she dresses?

Again , I have nothing against her at all....I know she is a die hard core moto fan......BUT there are tons of other people out there that are as well.

To me , it seems silly , unprofessional , and has nothing to do with the sport what so ever. Now if it was a birthday party...............

Why not dress up like a clown if that is what makes you happy? ....or a leprikon....or a cowboy....or a....??? Why not?

Why do some of you think spectators must wear a T shirt, jeans/shorts to be moto acceptable?
