Major drama building for next week.

When was the last time Honda swept both classes at a national? Congrats to Trey and Kevin.

Second fastest last lap was Barcia, and he wasn't even trying to race anyone, Tomac was way ahead of him. Who tries to do the fastest lap of the day on the last lap when he's in 6th? Barcia. You gotta hand it to him, he can be a pain in the ass but he's got a lot of heart.

can I just say that I think it's dumb that both Izzi and Wilson let Pourcel by when Canard had to work to pass both of them? What's the point of a race if people are going to let you go to the front? Glad Canard came out on top anyway, but come on.

Well...7 points with 2 motos to go.

I hope its 120 degrees at Pala next weekend!
It's amazing how often I'm typing and notice you've typed my exact thoughts. lol I should just find all your posts and type x2... 100 degrees plus would be a Canard title.

Also it looks like Ferry has a career in rider training now. What a first client. You take Canard on as a rider down 50 pts and has won 5 out of 6 overalls since and is now only 7 pts down.

The Weather Channel forecast shows a high of 87 for next weekend. That's not hot, but it's not cool either. And it's real dry of course.

7 points. Big pressure on both of them, Canard needs to win both motos and Pourcel can't bobble in either of them. Wow.

Trey really needs his team mates to step it up and help him out, get inbetween he and CP. Whatever the outcome, its been a dogfight and the winner will deserve it. Its both these guys last chance to get a title before moving up to the big boys next year.

Its been an awesome year of the great outdoors, sad that we only have one round left then its off to the SX circus.

and Dan, get out of my head man, its a mess in there! Cool

Time for a nap...

Of all the teammates, I think Barcia is the only one who has enough raw speed to help either way, but it all depends on the start. Between the two of them, Canard and Pourcel have to get a total of four perfect starts, and there's a good chance one of them will mess up one of those four.

I'm rooting for Pourcel but sheeeish, Canard has turned into a beast! Even though he's -7 i'd rather be in Canards shoes. He's got nothing to lose, a shit load of momentum and... Tim Ferry haha! Pourcel has the weight of the world on his shoulders and a whole nation against him. OK, last one was a bit of a stretch but prob feels that way to him. Think the Crafty Frenchman will take it still.

It probably feels that way, but it's not that way. I'm stoked for whoever wins and any moto fan should be likewise. Both of those guys will have left it all out on the track, no matter who wins.

As fast as those two guys are going, I don't think the teams can get away with trying to tilt the table. You gotta be able to race them to bump them, and I don't think anyone else but maybe Barcia can do that.

Congrats to K-dub, lots of wind left in his sails yet.

PC and Geico have a great relationship and PC is even a major sponsor of the geico squad.

I dont think team tactics will be issued.
Business relationships are bigger than one single title.

That never stopped Trey from punting RV into a pole. Woohoo

I predict a nice Oceanside breeze will give CP the endurance he needs, so it will be one heck of a race.Unsure

That would help. Either way we are headed for a Langston/Brown showdown next week.

Great race just gained a huge amount of respect for Pourcel. I would say race of the year so far.

Couldn't agree more. Can ALMOST understand Wilson but what the hell with Izzi? Bullshit. Anyone remember Alessi and Tedesco last race of the year? Not the kill button deal but the way PC ganged up on MA at the start. PC bikes on both sides of him on the line and moved over on him immediately out of the gate. Not a big fan of the PC team tactics. This is suppose to be a individual sport, not team tactics.

I think there was a video on transworld interviewing, Mitch and he was saying hopefully team tactics don't happen, dunno if he meant he wasn't going to do it or saying geico shouldn't do it...But I don't think the other riders should interfere, especially thinking you could end on up on the same team as that rider in the future

I think PC would do team tactics I mean they already are look at how wilson lets CP go by while canard has to work to get by eli. They don't have all those 1 plates on their rig by laying over. Also last week CP did that on the start to canard. And yeah what the hell with Izzi letting CP by never liked that kid and that just ads to it.

Canard has got to feel good with to STRAIGHT UP wins over CP today but again I think those PC bikes will be 10 feet wide next weekend and doubt Barcia tomac and wharton will be able to hold off the PC team. Oh and that pass on the outside canard put on wilson to then take the inside rut AWESOME!

Pourcel gets a lousy start, about tenth (?), then on the podium, Rattray apologizes for bumping CP off the gate.
Must not very clear on the "team tactics", eh boys?
