As “unpolished” of a broadcast as it was it was night and day better, because the guys were being themselves and actually talking about the race. Keep it simple stupid still applies. Awesome that Steve does this for these guys. They’re all bad dudes on a bike and don’t get the credit they deserve. 

I was very pleasantly surprised by the coverage. The booth guys were very good, even had timing and scoring. Kellen was excellent and no complaints with Phil or JB either. Solid. 

Vurb and everyone involved crushed this.  The coverage was impressive and even the pre race stuff was well done.  

Yeah, Kellen’s great at actually calling a race and what’s happening! I think him covering online races for years and years now has actually helped him in that aspect because the people playing the game aren’t getting their personal lives talked about for the entire duration of the race so he just needs to call the actual race in an exciting and entertaining way. 

Agreed. I was also surprised that the leaderboard could stay up longer than just the top 3 finishing without completely ruining everything. Who knew?!?

So the “keyboard warriors” are right…
