Similar threads have been made before, but ditch the socks and get some compression pants. Makes putting on boots/braces easier and they are much cooler in the summertime. But I know MSR makes very thick socks if you like "thick".

Guys up at clubmx gave me a bunch of stuff while I was up there a couple years back. Got like 6 pairs of clubmx  socks made by fuel and haven't rode woth anything since. Supper comfy and not to thick but not to thin. Hold up pretty well.

my EVS socks have lasted years, id get those if durability is important to you. i had thor, those were not so good lol the elastic blew out in a few months. got some fly socks last season and so far so good, although they do seem thinner than the EVS ones

I have about 4 pairs of Alpinestars socks that I bought in, not kidding, around Y2K. They've lasted 25 years. Thin, but very durable. Who knows if they still make the same ones now (probably not.)

Are you looking to pull them over your pant leg, then roll over the top of your boot? Something like this 😂

Moose socks look thin on there pics too. What is the rule of body heat in your feet ?  I hv pretty thick socks & run a thin Evs ? Sleeve that goes ovr the knees for knee braces.  I hv bony feet so I think the extra padding from thick socks is good incase I hit my feet on something.  But I need to feel my shifter real good being that I shift a lot .  My left foot is always numb too from my back . I,m trying to get in for another back injection. And a few others.

You can try fox racing , they are really good for producing socks that last longer and good comfort when riding

I've been running the EVS thigh highs because my knee guards were chafing my legs in 2 hour hare scrambles. They've been really good so far, but the transition to the actual sock could be stretchier, hard to get your foot through it.

I bought some astars socks and I’m not really a fan… they are the most difficult socks I’ve ever had to put on. My shoulders are shot and I feel like they are going to pop out reaching down trying to pull those things on to my feet lol

I have my own little company - Asagiwear

I had some knee brace socks made not long ago that came out great but the sock part is lot thicker then I wanted them to be, the top part is thin and polyester / spandex material, the foot part is more like standard thicker sock.

Might be worth a try for you, I’m doing 30% off salt they tomorrow night, code - EASTER

100%. I wear ankle socks and compression pants / undies. So much more comfortable, better foot fit and less soreness from knee pads.

My feet and lower legs feel way less sweaty than before as well.

A friend of mine got me on the wood socks kick, specifically the brand "Darn Tough", and I've never been happier in my work boots, which got me thinking about my moto socks. I recently tried KLIM's wool socks. They offer several levels of thickness depending on the weather you ride in. Previously I used TLD socks, but was constantly getting holes around the heel area, and also dealt with days where my feet were cold, or just not comfortable in my boots. With my KLIM socks, this is no longer an issue, and after dozens of days being used, they show very little wear, if any at all. When I was ready to put in my first KLIM order, I was a bit confused on what sock was right for our mild winter weather in So Cal. I used their chat feature, and they pointed me in the direction of the "Aggressor 2.0" for colder days, which have been great. I plan to purchase some "Aggressor 1.0" and "Aggressor Vented" socks now that our weather is warming up. Anyhow, good luck with whatever socks you choose!

I wear ski socks. They are light years ahead of the moto socks I’ve worn. I wear thin or medium weight. They aren’t any warmer than other socks(common misconception).

Rocky Mountain house brand socks.  Damn near free when on sale or closeout and last man years.  I've been rotating two pair for nearly 10 years riding almost every weekend year round.

I ditched the socks and bought these and just wear normal tube socks...works awesome, and I never have to worry about the socks sliding down (I wear knee/shin guards not braces)...plus, I like the extra padding/protection on the hips and thighs...and it has padding in the butt that I really like on long offroad rides.
