You are quite the jokester! TDSers going bonkers! LOL

Many states have been rolling back child labor laws for a few years now. I'd list some for you but then I might get accused of being partisan. Not hard to guess which ones are leading the way

Embarrassing. The National Parks are probably the best thing the US government has ever done and they are fucking that up

No, that was more of a stare and a gesture of I'm willing to work with you. See how everyone who's willing to work with us we've eased up.

Remember how many people didn't believe he had the balls to even do this to begin with. He's gotten the reactions he wanted and needed. The media and politicians that want to push the  he'  wishy washy, doesn't know what he's doing,  he's tanking the market you might want to sell some stocks before trump destorys everything that's what they want you to believe that he's fucking up and these people are the ones that benefit the chaos. If thye can help Trump fail it's a huge win for them. Theres nothing to be gained by helping him form any type of strategy to make anything better. Any type of win by "Hitler" is a loss for them.

While on the flip side maybe he's the one showing the world that hey I ment what I said. I'll put this tariff on you if you don't  want to work a proper deal with us. When they didn't come to the table in the way he wanted he went an did it. Then when they agreed to hold legitimate meetings on this he rightfully showed them in good faith as a good business partner in negotiations. Ill back it down to 10% for 90 days while we work this out.

Remember everyone had a chance to take a seat at the table before this happened. If he doesn't leave the base of 10% they have no incentive to work a deal just let the media and politicians work thier narrative of him failing. China and the EU are digging their heels in. Their fighting this tooth and nail so far it looks like. Am I wrong. But not all EU countrie  agree with the eus stances, so theres that. So while they're publicly showing opposition, Trump throws a 90 day pause on some things that will help everyone's economy including China's. It a gesture of hey we're not trying to tank you let's work this out.

This is how a bussines deal works.

That kind of overlooks the horrendous climate he has created for businesses who might otherwise consider investing more in themselves, or changing operations to be more USA based. And their investment backers. Not to mention consumer confidence.

Well, I’m not sure what to make of this latest move. I tend to lean with Kevin O’Leary, but we’ll see…

This is how a bussines deal works.

It might be 'how business deals work' but global economics isn't business. It's far more complicated.

People think Trump would be great for the economy because 'he's a good businessman'. But running a national economy in an international world requires the skills of an economist, not a businessman. Most national leaders aren't qualified economists so they rely heavily on the advice of carefully chosen people, preferably those who can give objective, non partisan, advice so that the leader gets the most accurate picture.

Clearly, that's not what's happening here.

This is not how a business deal works and its also not what happened. He tried to blackmail, but underestimated responses.

He didn't pause the tariffs because of good faith. Only a few hours before the pause, he told the eu hes not gonna negotiate after they offered a first deal instead of reciprocal tariffs on their side. There was no table to sit at.

Only reason he paused tariffs is because pushback from market. Stock market crashing and other nations selling t-bonds put him under serious pressure and he caved.

It looks like this might’ve opened up a dialogue with President Xi.

Wonder how true the rumors are of Xi's diminishing control of the military is? What about the same rumors of a substantial population decline in China? If those are true, adding a trade war on top would certainly stress Xi's control, right?

I think we’re all gonna have to meet in the middle. None of us “right” or “left” knows what’s gonna happen. I think Trump has “America first” as a priority, and yet most of us want to see him go harder on China. But I also can see the value of having open dialogue with these nations. Going to actual war is not a good idea

Good points. Trump’s obviously getting advice behind the scenes. He’s also lightened up on deporting illegal alien ag/construction workers.

So you support Globalism and the Status Quo, huh?  If it’s just “so complicated” for anyone but the self prescribed “experts” to understand and be allowed an opinion, then that tells me there’s a good reason to change it.  The old system is going out the window, like it or not.  Change is coming, you can adapt or get run over by it.
