However if Star doesn’t do whatever it takes to keep Davies happy, they’re crazy.

I’d say at this point in their careers Regan is worth 2-3x more. CD is crushing it and is a great interview but does not have the reach. The sport is soo small that deegs has more eyes than almost anyone at this point in time.

Deegan is earning way more than Davis at this point. Deegan's Star salary is based on his past and potential results. He has Championships already and will win more in the future. His social media has fuckall to do with his Star base salary as the OP is insinuating.
Deegan's social media will give more clout ($$$) with his side endorsements.
Davis' base salary will go up significantly next year. The kid is 17 and is quite possibly another Jett.
I don't see that happening simply because if Star goes that route, another one of the OEMs will absolutely step up with the huge salary + good bonuses (which may actually happen anyway).
If you took Brian's dick out of your sycophantic mouth you'd see Davies is already a better SX rider and will continue to be going forward - including in 450s. Haiden is a good SX rider but a much better outdoors rider. In terms of contracts, being great at SX is what matters to the teams.
At least give Davies the different colored helmets and boots.

Yup, his multi year contract was signed with Yamaha when he was still a amateur. So I'd guess his contract would have included two years at Star as a Pro. I'm also guessing his contract will be up at the end of 2026.
If he keeps doing what he is doing then the offers are going to be stacking up on his desk.
