He's sixth in the points, what place are you in? What was your highest finish in the Nationals series at the end of the year?

I love seeing fast motherf*ckers. Can't wait to see in person what kind of speed Dungey has this year at Southwick. And James should be much improved by then. Bring it on.

Agree. I know shit, but his suspension settings looked like shit (I made that observation after I heard he had trouble with the supsension LOL) and would probably be better of with one of your Maicos from the fifties(?) with like one inch travel and wooden wheels? Add him not being fit enough, or at least having a wrist that's probably pretty female model anoretic kind of looking and some serious lack of recent experience etc and to manage to pull a third is pretty impressive.

Give him another month and he will bitch slap all riders present, even my precious beloved CP!

I hope he really sticks around for a while. His talent and technique makes me giggle.

I would bet a 1000 bucks that none of the faceless critics would go to a rider's rig after a race and spew the kind of shit they do on this forum.

More than likely they are the guys standing around waiting for an autograph on a poster that they can jerk off to later.

Respect the people who race for a living, they deserve it.

Woohoo Laughing pretty good man...

I tell ya what...from what I saw, (A.)James' bike didn't look set up too well.
And (B.)...did you guys see how fast he caught those guys??...with all his tear-offs flapping beside his goggles/helmet & had to keep wiping his goggles?

Typical Stewart warp factor 2 speed....jeezzzz.

I was Slapout, Al Gran Prix Champion and i don't come in here trying to run folk's lives. Hey, when i talked to Tony last year he seemed to like the 450 better and it's now pretty obvious that's the bike Mike should be on. We should give Tony props, maybe KTM should start listening to him? Anyway it pisses me off how some in here freak out if you say anything negative about Bubba, but it's open season on Alessi and family, i don't think there's any question about who has more heart.

I think san manny and the boys left james suspension for the outdoors back at the teepee and this next race will be a big wake up call for some. take all your shots at js7 now, while you can, cuz, that rides almost over.

I believe the backlash is simply from the Stewart nutthugers that think James can just show up and hand the field their asses and that Dungey is simply lucky and winning by default because there aren't any fast guys out there. There's no way James was showing up this past weekend and gapping Dungey let alone the field after that much time away, no way. There's too many good guys out there and Dungey, believe it or not Stewart fans, has the speed and more importantly the fitness to run with James. Dungey briefly showed it in SX before James got hurt so why would anyone think with Dungey healthy and racing all year that James can just show up and walk away from him? Those are seriously misguided expectations even for someone of James' caliber. No doubt, if James decides to finish out the series that he will win his share of motos and perhaps a race or two but the field is fast, Dungey is faster and James will have to be in shape to not only beat Dungey but to podium. These guys are fast and there's one guy on a yellow bike that's really fast and that guy has the fitness to give James all he can handle every weekend be it SX or MX. I am glad James is back (I think he's back?) but I promise you they're not just going to hand him the biggest trophy and let him kiss the prettiest girl just because he decides to enter a race, he'll have to earn it.
Bang on.

The opinion that JS would just come roaring back and destroy everyone simply lowers the perceived speed, training and dedication of the riders that are still out there. Do JS fans really think that guys like Dungey, Grant etc are just riding around comfortably because JS isn't there?? Come on now, give them a little more credit than that.

I think most "Hardcore"fans, the ones that really do know and understand moto read and sort through the stuff posed on here. But they don't waste time to comment on anything unless it is truly pertinent and moto.IMHO...btw did anyone notice Dowd's win in the 2 stroke challenge?Whistling

Well, in fairness, Grant seems to be (ouch!)

Also, in fairness, Stewart has come back after an injury lay off and laid waste to the field. It was a fair bench racing point. Obviously he wasn't as prepared as he would have hoped to be. No one here knows whether that's from lack of effort or it was just too soon.

Stewart is a polarizing figure not just because of his fanboys, but because there are people flat don't like him.

MX4,

So you're calling James 1-1 at Southwick? By how much? 10+ seconds a moto? I'll take the field on this one!! Just bustin yer balls here, but do you really believe he will go 1-1?

James simply looked like a guy who hasn't raced in 8 months........like everything was moving in fast forward.........but most of the dipshits who never rode a race don't know how that feels. Front wheel half wash outs and feet off the pegs are signs of not being used to race speed.

Will he beat Dungey this year? Don't know, and I'm not sure RC could handle the roll Dungey is on.......but I'd sure like to see James try.
